I haven’t checked this channel in forever, but this really brings me back. I discovered this channel when I was like twelve, and I loved it. I remember asking my grandmother if could borrow her sewing supplies so I could make my own plushes. She helped me learn how to sew the felt together and even made quite a few of the hard ones for me, like yoshi. Your videos are great and they even gave me something to bond with my grandmother over.

The wait is over! :D This was so much fun to be a part of! Goomzilla, thank you so much for inviting me to voice Princess Daisy! It’s been a dream come true for me to try my hand at voice acting for someone else, especially you and your sister, since I am such a big fan of you guys! ^_^ Now, to the review! *SPOILERS, PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE READING* The scenery for this whole thing is just a treat to watch! :D I love the photo set up with the Piranha Plant and the bench and the trees, it really makes it look like a tourist attraction! Great job with the Toad’s camera, and on the postcard picture, too! Was that scene inspired by the photo shoot in Marrymore from Super Mario RPG? It kind of reminded me of that. :) I bet Bowser will hang on to that picture for all time! XD What we’ve all been waiting for: The Princess Daisy plush in a Goomzilla movie! I know that I and a lot of other people hoped to see her since Peach’s Quest part 1 (and that was before I even knew I would be asked to voice her! ^_^). Her whole castle is decorated wonderfully, and all the guests and the food look great! We get to see Birdo, and the Toadette and Buzzy Beetle from The Great Glory, too! I love the music choice from Paper Jam! It really brings everything together. I love how you wrote the dialog for Daisy, especially her interaction with Bowser! XD And Peach cautioning Bowser not to say his name, so he quickly settles on King Avocado, and the avocado and sound effect really nailed the delivery on that! I also like the reference to Princess Éclair! I wonder how Daisy feels about her, especially if she’s heard about Luigi’s adventure to rescue her that one time…? Oh well, Mario rescued Daisy herself once before, and Peach isn’t jealous. The Flaming Arrows of Ghustiplod! Good job on their design, and the whole scene with them in the chest in Daisy’s room. I can’t help but wonder who Daisy’s old friend is… And if it’s maybe, a Bob-omb…? The Goomba gang! I really like the shades on the lead Goomba, he looks like bad news! XD Is that one Goomba in the back Goomfrey? Or is it meant to be a different one? He doesn’t have his bowtie, so probably not, but maybe. I like the little heart on the Daisy’s Room sign! :) I guess that’s a sign for any new recruits in castle staff, or for tourists, so they don’t get lost? Too bad it helped lead the Goomba squad right to their goal! Lol, their little huddle! XD Good music choice for that, too! The distraction! The Buzzy Beetle looks pretty nervous about being used as a balancing prop! Birdo took care of him, though! Lol (I hope that wasn’t Goomfrey now…) Great job with Birdo spitting out the egg, it even bounced off and flew off screen (I wonder where that ended up? Lol)! Nice path work for editing that! XD You even did the Paper Mario defeat sound when the Goomba was hit and gone! Those two Goombas don’t seem very concerned about what happened to their comrade, but I guess they’re on a mission. The Color Splash music really works well for that whole scene! I like how the heroes find the room after they decide to go get the arrows, and how the Goombas are hiding. XD Then they make their getaway to Goomba King music from Paper Mario! :D The Buzzy Beetle is just like ‘mm-hm.’ ‘I dunno what that was about, whatever.’ XD And then we have Koopa! You’ve got the Thousand Year Door chapter music to introduce him, too! He got there just in time! :) He’s really smart, as usual, taking in the situation and working it to his advantage. At first I thought he was going to tell them about Bowser being alive and everything, but I guess that wouldn’t have been a good move, since he wasn’t sure how they’d react, and they had the arrows that he knew Bowser would need. So, he gets them to give HIM the arrows! :) I’m glad you gave us text in there, since he doesn’t have a voice. The Goombas look pretty happy to have the rest of the day off! I guess Mimi overworks them! XD Good thing Birdo and Buzzy Beetle saw which way the Goombas went. And Peach and Bowser catch up with them, thanks to Koopa! :) Yay, Beware the Forest Mushrooms music! :D So now Bowser gets to see how some of his minions betrayed him… The Goombas admitted it quite willingly! They’re not really afraid of him now, I guess. Still Bowser was pretty steamed, understandably! Shady Goomba has a switch! A Warp Pipe summoning switch! Lol, Koopa gets into his shell! XD Nice job on that, by the way. I guess he sort of tipped Bowser off on what was coming that way, and Bowser tackles Peach for safety from Bob-ombs! They took that explosion brilliantly with their shells, but that one Goomba was a bit clueless! XD Those three Goombas didn’t really coordinate very well, did they? :P Some good thinking from Bowser! Being with Peach is causing some of her smarts to rub off onto him! XD I like how you added the throwing sound from Super Mario Bros. 2! And the game over music for Shady Goomba! Lol Victory! And Bowser gets to see Koopa’s loyalty (I love how he taps on his shell to get him out). Peach thanks Bowser and Koopa. Aww! :) Daisy’s back, and now they have all three items! Great Daisy Circuit music! I like how you did Peach’s movements with examining the items and using them too. :) Peach shooting the arrow and it going into the book, and then hitting the mirror and going into the book were edited very well! And I like how you’ve been getting scenes with other characters in mirrors, like Peach in the mirror reacting to Bowser, it really adds to the depth of things. And now we’re on to Kamek, with his intro from Sticker Star/Color Splash! :D And then we see, the Spike-top Paragoomba! :O And he’s working for Mimi! :O Not good (for the heroes, the writing is good!) … Lol, poor Kamek just can’t catch a break! XD Mimi is starting to lose her patience! (Hannah did a great job on voicing Mimi’s anger! :D) And they now know that Koopa betrayed them… Doopliss really seems to be tired of Mimi’s attitude, he’s clearly not having fun anymore, which is what he values most. I like how he ‘rattled’ the cage, and Mario and Luigi were bracing themselves and then saw how gentle it was! I’m surprised Mimi didn’t blow up at him. But Tripliss interrupts with the news that all the legendary items have been found. How typical of the villain to blame her minions for her own mistakes: I’m pretty sure SHE was the one that was overconfident, and back in episode 1 the Duplighosts said that the BOSS isn’t worried about Peach. Mimi decides to rest up for the battle to come… Now we’re to Kamek’s looong, up-side down flight. Thankfully his hat stayed on through it! XD It is a mystery how he will be able to defeat that Paragoomba to get his power back… He thought maybe some magic, but he can’t do any right now, can he? Not with his power drained…? If Peach, Bowser and Koopa can manage to face it, though… Kamek would be a big help if he got his full strength back! Spike-top Paragoomba is getting tired over the ocean! Hoo boy… lol Now it’s time for Mario to try out the cap that Doopliss gave him, and it’s a version of Cappy! He’s a stool now! Luigi’s reaction! XD And Mario’s like: ‘cool!’ lol Stealthy Snoop from Paper Mario, good song choice once again! That whole thing is a lot like Peach with her Sneaky Parasol. :) And then the meeting with Doopliss, that was cool! I find it a little hard to believe that Doopliss never wanted to hurt anyone: he seemed to be really after Luigi in Luigi’s Quest. But it looks like he’s gotten over that grudge, now anyway. He doesn’t want to take over a world controlled by Mimi, who would? And even so, it’s not what Duplighosts live for, like he said. Somehow Mario has to convince Peach and Bowser to spare Doopliss and Tripliss but take down Mimi! Not an easy task with Bowser involved… But our hero is up to the challenge! :D Especially the challenge of pulling off the escape just right. I like how he goes back and captures the stool while saying ‘Boing!’ XD That whole scene with the dusty rug was great! XD I like how you combined Mario’s snore sounds to end with the sneeze, which freaked the Goomba guard out! Lol Hopefully that guy doesn’t catch on to what happened and blow their chances! But, since this is a Goomba guard we’re talking about, I’m guessing he just ran away clueless about what happened! X) And then Mario gets back alright and tells Luigi all about it. As Mario says, ‘Too cool!’ That’s my sentiment on the episode exactly! :D The end is in sight with The Crystal Showdown coming out in August, which is the month of my birthday! ^_^ I can’t wait to see what Mimi has in store for Bowser and Peach… And what Koopa, Doopliss, Tripliss, and the Mario Bros., as well as Kamek and the Spike-top Paragoomba, will bring to the finale! Then there’s the mystery of the backstory of the Bob-ombs and the Duplighosts and just how those items work… And it remains to be seen just how many of Bowser’s minions will remain loyal to Mimi when the truth comes out. It’s all coming together! It will be interesting to see what Mimi will do with the odds stacked against her like they are right now. Peach has used her brain and her heart, while Bowser has provided the brawn and experience, to get this far: they’ll have to continue to rely on each other for the final trials. I’m liking where this is headed! :D Keep up the great work you guys, you never fail to make us smile! ^_^

Thanks for lending your voice and your review! Marrymore didn't actually come to mind when making that first scene, but now you mention it it does seem very similar. The Goomba wasn't meant to be Goomfrey, though it is the same plush - I think of them as different Goombas every time with the exception of Goomfrey, because they frequently die...! The egg probably went off screen and destroyed even more of Daisy's room behind her back :P it's true that Koopa could've tried telling the Goombas about Bowser being alive - in my mind I was thinking of that cool Goomba as being totally rogue from Bowser. The Powered-up Goomba is also very dozy and unreliable to try to talk to. It was nice to finally use Beware the Forest's Mushrooms, probably one of the most iconic Mario themes! And those Goombas are mushrooms to beware of :P the throwing effect from SM2 was something I remember from the Super Mario Bros Super Show when they were throwing Bob-Ombs off a pirate ship. I am enjoying using the mirror to get some reflections of characters! Kamek's mind for magic is what makes him suggest that first - but the magic is locked away, right under his nose! That's cool how similarities work out, even when you aren't trying to make a reference! :) Whew, I'm glad Goomfrey is still safe out there, somewhere. I like how you give all those Goombas their own personality! And that's true how Beware the Forest Mushrooms fit every detail perfectly! Ah, I grew up watching the Super Mario Bros. Super Show! I own every cartoon episode on DVD, and most of the live action segments. The Pirates of Koopa is the episode you're talking about, that's one of my many favorites! (I tend to like pirate themed things.) :D They did use the SMB2 throwing sound a lot in the show, along with other sounds from the game; that's one of the things I really like about the show, plus all the cool remixes of the music from the games. The episodes are pretty cheesy (with tons of animation/voice errors) but they have a certain charm to them. :) Yeah, and there were more reflections in Mario's conversation with Doopliss that I noticed! So good! :D You're welcome, and I'm also looking forward to future recordings! ^_^
