Hey guys. Those 5.7 Hemis are known for bad cams and lifters. That being a patrol vehicle it has tons of idle time on it. That’s what kills the Hemi because of bad oil circulation in the top end. If it were mine especially with the super charger, I’d replace the cam and lifters. Check your drain plug and oil for any metal. If you have any at all it’s time for a new engine because the metal from the worn out cam and lifters has already gone through your entire engine. Ask me how I know! 2011 Ram here.

The longer I work at a real collision shop with expert body technicians, the more cringe these "repairs" look to me. I'm a parts advisor and watch vehicles worse than this get repaired from beginning to end; there is NO way this can be properly done in 24 hours. The inner structure of that rocker and wheelhouse are obviously damaged. But, you know, give it a good pull and make it look good. Here's something these boys don't know, and why they should *never* sell anything they repaired; if one of their vehicles is in a pretty big accident and injuries occurred because of these shoddy repairs compromising the vehicle's structure, then these guys are liable for criminal charges. Not just civil, but criminal. I wouldn't touch one of their rebuilt vehicles with a ten foot pole.

Put in a stock headliner and sell the starlight. A ton of them are popped out and when that controller goes it's going t be a headache. They should have mounted it in the trunk or the rear sail panel as well for a number of reasons.
