Goose is absolutely on fire right now! I have been seeing phish since the mid 90s and Goose has that energy that phish had in the early to mid 90s. Their improvisation is so on point I haven't been this excited about a band in a really long time. Mark my words Goose is the next big thing! Well done sirs keep up the good work!!

Type 2 jamming is when the song goes through its basic structure (eg. chord progression), then the jam starts; if it deviates from the established, it's considered 'type 2'...to me it feels like you're taking a trip into outer space. I'd love if others expanded on this, it's a super cool concept, and I'm not even sure I described it accurately...

I'm watching from Wellington, New Zealand, and after the first Goose concert video I saw several weeks ago, the youtube autoplaylist is still serving up new live Goose concerts for me. I'll probably never get to see them play live, so these videos are my full experience of the band. Pretty impressive, considering they're currently my favourite group!

This show is truly a hidden gem. You all absolutely nailed Jive I > Jive Lee. Indian River > Time to Flee Reprise is a emotional masterpiece. The boys are playing with such passion and heart. By far the best version I have ever heard, and I've listened to every single live show of theirs from 2018 onwards. Fish in the sea > Drive continues the perfection with a liquid smoothness that is unmatched by any other version I've heard. They are in a moment of flow that cannot be replicated. As always, Ben is the driving force with his impeccable timing on the drums. Don't misconstrue, Rick, Peter, Trevor and Jeff, ya'll are amazing, but Ben is a wizard with the drums and when he is in his perfect flow the band just melts together following his jazz-influenced speed and timing. Love it guys and looking forward to seeing more magic again in two weeks.

Agreed man. I can't get enough of the geese and all these full shows on KZbin (keep em coming!!) but the overlays are pretty excessive. Some really great shots, but would be nice to focus for a minute so we can soak in the handiwork. PS please come back to CO soon!! Would kill for another Gooseboat run, but in the meantime, I hear there's a nice Drive-In theater in Fort Collins...
