You’re right not a lot of bands would do it but that’s what makes this band so special. Not only are they amazingly talented but they are also smart as hell. They do a great job of marketing themselves and that’s part of the reason why they are growing such a rabid fan base so quickly. Can you imagine if Phish had platforms like KZbin and Nugs in the real early 90’s?

27 here, this is exactly how I feel. Started to listening to Dave Matthews band when I was 13. Loved the jam band aspect moved my horizons to all over jam bands where. Phish, Dave, and the dead are my three loves, and before I die these guys might get to number one. Absolutely amaZing talent. Some of the others jam bands never stuck likes umps, cheese, moe. I do like me some lotus

I feel like in White Lights, it's almost a "Beat It" tease. I can see how they could go into The Way It Is at any point, but I think in this one, I hear a loose "Beat It" with a spacey, almost old HBO movie intro clip wayyyyy back in the day feel to it.

I think Handini won the day with his killer guitar solo at 1:18:00 and King Gizzard shirt. Overall, such a great show. The White Lights jam, the SOS>Dawn to start set 2, and that wild Beethoven were all highlights for me.
