I've heard this song so many times and I'm always blown away. So much pain, so much despair and anger and yet, hidden, the hope that everything could be okay again. Beautifully and perfectly sung. I had to leave the livestream because I was with Mom in the hospital, but just rewatched the video. This song was done so well even if Dan didn't feel his falsetto was quite to his liking. Dan is one of the few, besides Michael Kiske, that can do this song honor! If I got it right, Viking, you're not familiar with Helloween... They're THE OG power metal band. They invented it (Manowar helped) and all the bands that came afterward, be it Blind Guardian, Angra, Rhapsody or Lovebites have a lineage that goes back to Helloween. They're a supergroup now, having brought back guitarist and first singer Kai Hansen, second singer Michael Kiske and kept all the former members. Very, very highly recommended!

I got the giggles because of those things, and wrote the following comment: ......."
