I played this as the intro to my sister's funeral and the outro to my mother's (4 years later). There are no words but the oceans are worldwide and this song reached me ... And it still does (UK). love

Remember those times when people used to gather together en masse and listen to some good music? Me neither.

So, I was looking at the top 25 hits recently and noticed a programming bug causing Ocean not to be listed.

He seems to have a new Maton 12 string anyone know anything about it? I can't find anything about it on their site..
@AlexSpetz6 жыл бұрын
Templar7832 seen this in his other most recent videos too. Its super nice and sounds great. Looks so comfortable with it too. That little emblem between the 16th and 14th is lovely too.
@Templar78326 жыл бұрын
Yeah! I've seen it too now. I'm sure it's still a Maton, but there is no information anywhere on it at all. Nothing on their site or their facebook page and I want it!! And yesh the green rings are very unusual but very cool. He has rings on his arm so maybe it's a custom job...?

I've noticed he only ever strings it with 11 strings, wonder why this is.

He doesn’t like the sound of the higher g string apparently. :)

What kind of distorted effect did he use in some sections of the song?
@BenWamberg5 жыл бұрын
As best I can tell it's a kind of wah pedal. It could be just a volume pedal with a chorus or distortion pedal as the effect being gated by the pedal.
@jcout255 жыл бұрын
It's distortion.
@texasfossilguy4 жыл бұрын
he uses an ernie ball ab ab volume pedal and a seymour duncan pickup over the sound hole. His guitars have dual output, the seymour duncan goes to a Marshall twin cabinet for the distortion, while you press down the pedal. The up position on the pedal is clean acoustic via piezo built into the guitar which is Maton brand. He disables the microphone. So when he does the distortion/volume swell it is pressing down the pedal and giving more volume through the B channel. This way both come through. He goes through his setup on another video..
