This reminds me of my son's passion for music. He died less than a year ago to suicide and loved John Butler Trio. I have only started listening as these were the last albums my son asked for. I adore the passion and the talent and it brings me closer to my son. Thank you John Butler.

this is one of those songs that requires silence from the audience. Instead of screaming and cheering, they should fully immerse themselves into the feeling of this song. Save the screaming for an upbeat song!
@shemrahboof44777 жыл бұрын
dude i was just going to leave a similar comment. i think of this song as a composition, as with a piece of orchestral music, you wait til theyre finished, you observe the entire drama, the joy, the tension, etc of a piece of music, let the story be told and then fucking go nuts when its over, but dammit give the man his deserved respect and concentration. ✌

This is the katey perry, lady gaga pop hook music world we live in now that John Butler doesn't get a Grammy nod for this composition. It is akin to a bugler getting recognition over Mozart.
@JamwithGlam8 жыл бұрын
+Rich Giroux Mozart didn't need an award or a grammy. Only people like you crave that recognition. Just enjoy it.

Aneel Aranha Thanks for the unnecessary passive aggressive insult. You totally missed the point and obviously you don't understand the concept of sarcasm.
@illwillpress1008 жыл бұрын
+Rich Giroux why would he get a grammy nod for a song released in 1998
@Rich13canada8 жыл бұрын
illwillpress100 I just meant that great artists like John Butler don't get the recognition they deserve because they don't cater to the mainstream.
