I woke up yesterday and within a couple of minutes I got the urge to listen to Elmeg the Wise, which is a song that has impacted me (and Im sure many) deeply. It's somewhat of an anthem for me when my trust in the world and in life wavers. While playing some of the song on my phone, I looked and saw this posted. Dived in, and shed quite a few tears to the beauty and serendipity. Thank you so much for what you do, for creating music that invokes healing, happiness and exploration into the darkness and light, and the balance that lies between. GOOOSE!

I played it for a co worker and told her how Elmeg was one of my favorites, but hadn't heard this recording of it yet. Not a minute in she turned around and said "doesn't it make you want to cry?" This was so incredibly tasteful. Goose forever!!

Agreed. As much as I dig Phish, they're not capable of the beauty and tranquility that Goose brings here with "Autumn Crossings". Trey is amazing in so many ways and is one of the Godfathers of the Jam scene, but his vocals are not in Rich's league, then again, not many vocalists are. I'm sure even he would admit that. Everytime Goose tries something new, the set the bar higher and higher. This 17 minute musical and visual journey is the perfect example....
