Erm - there are more fundamental issues with the system than term limits. Term limits might help to some extent, but there are substantially worse "procedural" issues than that - like hold-over gerrymandering attempts, voter suppression methodologies, a complete inability of either party to co-operate with the other and filibustering. Even in terms of 'how problematic people are once elected', the impact of money on congressional races is far more deadly - there's a not-quite 1:1 correlation between fundraising and likelihood of election, which means that almost any candidate is beholden to the interests of whomever paid them. The system is broken, but term limits are far from the part that borke it.

IDs aren't the issue. There are many forms of ID that are used to identify a voter that are used and are perfectly acceptable. The problem is what is being currently being pursued as acceptable IDs. Specifically the GOP are trying to make only Drivers licenses and passports the only acceptable IDs. If your too poor to own a car or to travel outside of the country then according to the GOP you lose your right to vote? Does that make sense? Basically this would disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters only because they are poor. Replace Drivers License and passport with a free voter ID card that you can get when you register to vote and I'd say you have a case. Look closely what the GOP are actually saying not the hyperbole they are peddling.

If I choose not to sue my doctor for a basic physical exam (or my choice of service), I should not be charged a arm and leg premium for it. What "value" does the insurance company create for me? Zero. I can pay the doctor directly. The only value they can provide is to cut short the waiting time for specialists like in Australia as supplemental insurance. That's it. Malpractice is capped everywhere else all over the world. It is disgraceful we all have to pay for frivolous lawsuits (3% of cases). In genuine cases, it should be between the doctor and patient or optional if one chooses not to sue (and charged much less) That is purely upto the individual.

The people of California need to demand Voter ID for EVERYONE, also all these new immigrates coming to the US are going to be applying for drivers licenses for ID. There should be a bill introduced into your states legislature that makes that everyone applying for a driver's license to show proof of citizenship, if they can't the 4 letters should be embossed on that license NETV = Not ELIGIBLE to vote. If you pass a law in your legislature that says everyone is to be asked this is not racism, because no certain group is being targeted, EVERYONE by law would have to be asked when applying for drivers license. So that racism argument holds no water. But California legislatures representatives have to do this. Contact your representative and demand a bill be introduced to do this. It will stop a lot of voter fraud. Also demand that all voter rolls be purged of people that have died. This will also stop dead people from voting.
