I actually enjoyed the skeles. One thing I really miss in Skyrim is having big open areas overrun with sekletons and the like. Seems like a few tombs have a couple at a time outside, but nothing like Sancre Tor.

Also, you should read Chances Folly. It is my favorite book from the ES series, ever since I first read it in Morrowind years ago.

OMG me too, in fact i hated a great deal of the main quest. some guy sends someone else around doing chores so that he doesn't need to do anything dangerous. It's like being samwise gangee or lydia. but sancre tor tops it all.

they went up to like Skeleton Champion level and they were like your strength. easy enough to deal with. but when its an undead group in a small room like it is it get so got damn annoying.
