IMPORTANT: When renaming the "New Text Document.txt" to "StarfieldCustoms.ini", if you cannot see the ".txt" or ".ini" part of those file names, go to the top of your Windows Explorer and make sure the box marked "File name extensions" is checked. This let's you see the file extension for known files. As a general rule, I'd recommend always having that checked. If you're on Windows 11 @ShakeyHandedArtist found a solution for you : "to anyone using windows 11 go to the top of your windows explorer, click view, then at the bottom it should say "show" click that and then find "file name extensions" and click that. then you're good to go :) hope this helped." Thank you to him for that :)

Thank you very much Gopher for your modding tutorials. That is how I learned modding and Skyrim was my first modded game. People that criticize Starfield and give it a low score don't understand. This game is a modder's country, just like a software that a community handles where anyone can bring in some input is always better than the creator's. Blender is one example, and Autodesk struggles to keep up with it. Starfield has over 1000 planets and batallion of modders standing at the ready to fill them up with content. In the end no game will be able to rival it. Let the fun begin.
