Hi Joanne. Your tutorials are great, you do I step by step, there ar so many that rush through things which leave me baffled. I am re-jigging my Den and need to find room to set my Go Press and Scan and Cut up then it will be done. Thank you. Hugs xxx Wendy

Thank you for these beginner sessions. I’ve been deciding on whether or not to buy a foil machine after watching your video, I am excited to say “YES”. A quick question: when you take dies of your hot machine, where do you put them to cool?

Hi Sandi - I hope you will enjoy using your foil machine as much as I do. When I take the hot dies off the machine I put them on the heat proof mat that comes with the machine. All of the brands of hot foiling platforms (GoPress & Foil, Gemini Foilpress, Spellbinders Glimmer) come with a silicon mat to put hot dies down on to cool.

My big roll of silver foil is Create and Craft Core Collection - they do it in gold and silver and it's great value. Not always in stock. Search for "Core Collection Foil"

I love your idea of the magnet and also the aligning of the paper at the edges. I definitely will try this. Also could you tell me the size of your magnet - especially the thickness??? Yours looks easy to work with.

Mine are 20mm diameter and 2mm thick. The exact size is not important.
