Battery life of the DJI is totally wrong. Did GoPro pay you more for the review than the competitors?

Could you please let us know the resolution and frame rate of your recording, whether there is a screen-off operation, and if the camera was at room temperature before starting the recording, so that we can assist you better? Note: Our official test settings for battery life are as follows: the camera is fully charged, the camera is at a room temperature of 25℃ (it has not been used previously), and the screen is set to turn off after 3 seconds.

We weren't trying to replicate the official results, just to see which camera lasted the longest in normal UK conditions with comparable settings. "Normal conditions" for us is quite a lot colder than 25°C 😂 All cameras were fully charged, recording from cold, shooting in 1080p/30 and set to keep the screen on for 30 seconds

Cycliq Fly worth it as a safety camera over these action cameras despite the poor quality software and footage?

Completely depends on what you want to use it for, the Cycliq won't give you "insta worthy" footage but is more than usable for documenting incidents and rides. The action cams lack any auto detection, the same run times, rear light or automatic overwriting of old footage so worth bearing that in mind

why do you upload 1080p video ? 1080p youtube compression is the worse. Even If you have 1080p in the end you should render to 4k. it is hard to see differences between cams if it is 1/4 of hard compression fullhd.

I have the 5, 7 and 10 and all of them have problems. Updated all to whatever was the latest firmware. Random freezing, oathetic battery life, crazy pricing. My 7 has been the worst. Freezes often. Audio gets recorded byt video wiukdve frozen and the front lcd ahows its recording so one qould never knownif there were any issues. Or sometimes video is getting recorded and no audio or sometimes ot doesnt take the inout from the mic for whatever reason. My 10 heats up or if not that the battery life is atrocious. Shows 90% bit when i start recording, its shuta down within few seconds showing a message whoch says "battery low". Absolute garbage. And not to forget the cash granlb that is the media mod or the audio adapter. I finally bought a djo action 5 pro.

Chinese action cameras not just caught Up, they are actually better products. In the action camera market, Chinese product dominated. but since this market so small, people don't pay too much attention.

GP is good for sunny day sports but trash for biking in wood dark sections. Its unbelievable that over years not upgrade low light footage. App is terrible crashing, not connected and camera freezzing and so slowly. I dont believe is GP battery recording about 2,5 hour and on video looks like GP recording in 1080p and others in 4K. Mine GP in 4k 30fps record time about 1:20 minutes. I changing GP for DJI and dont go back. Dji is univerzal action cam, smalest, lihghtest and fast.
