GoPro 3-Way vs GoPro El Grande: Which One Is For You?

Joby TelePod Sport extends to 47” and collapse to 13”. That’s without the included tripod attachment. Chose it over the El Grande. Purchased a ball joint mount to give the Joby similar function re: 360 degree turn and tilt. Thank you for the video.

Thanks brother just got the GoPro 7 and ordered the three way, this vid is gonna make me get the el grande too haha,I’ll post some vids up soon, btw I bought some third party accessories and most were cheap Ill pick up GoPro all day... if you get GoPro plus for $4 a month you get ½ off most their accessories and insurance on your camera!

U summed up why I wouldn't recommend the 3-Way when you talked about how it folded in on itself in the pool. I had one and it felt like cheap plastic, it kept folding up, and the tripod legs were so light weight and small that it was impossible to balance it unless it was totally folded up and the camera was directly in the middle pointing perfectly in one direction. Any extension or movement off the exact center and it just fell over. I had it for a day and took it back and bought the El Grande. WAY better quality, and I've been happy with it since.

lol. Ok. I don't own either one but I will see what I can do for you. I think a friend of mine has the old one so I will try to borrow his. Just off the top of my head I would say the best way to mount it to the El Grande would be with a velcro strap. I think that remote comes with one. I'll look into it for sure.

Yeah it is. I find myself having to turn it slightly when the pole is extended.
