Quick ride out to the Lammermuirs in Scotland to test my new camera setup (and my first attempt at motovlogging really)...

Nice video. You have some lovely riding country on your doorstep. I have a Strom and lucky enough to live on the edge of the Peak District. Great roads but can get busy here.

Thanks! Lots of places to visit and nice roads in the area, yes. Getting nice weather to ho out on your bike in Scotland is a lottery though! The Peak District is a lovely part of the world too and is on my list, I will visit one day...

I'm very pleased with mine so far! Thank you, glad you liked it. Mine's black too, apart from the silver/grey 'beak', the red highlights on the front fairings are just optional suzuki decals!

Cheers buddy, that's much appreciated. Definitely need to work on the 'patter' but I guess it takes practice! Quite happy with the footage and editing though. Always room for improvement but it's miles better than before!

Hi Oli! yes, I'm very happy with the camera. Thank you again for your advice. It was a bit tricky to attach to the helet and get the right angle though. I think I still need to adjust it slightly but the video quality is superb!

@@matjucable Hello Matt, yes, the camera is really good. I also had to try for a long time to find the right position for the camera on the helmet and then align the camera well. But a disadvantage is the camera, it is no longer waterproof when the sound adapter is plugged. So, be careful when driving in the rain.

@@v-stromrider4970 yes, noticed that in the instructions. I don't think the microphone adapter is waterproof either, so I will definitely not risk using it in the rain.

@@matjucable The drive over the Bealach na Bà was so impressive that I had not even thought of the camera. Unfortunately, it had rained so heavily that the camera lens misted up the next day from the inside. So the next day the battery and the memory card taken out of the camera and let the camera dry with the flaps open. She has survived!

@@v-stromrider4970 Applecross is fantastic, isn't it. When we did it, it was overcast but reasonably dry. Wish I had this Gopro then! The same thing happened to my phone actually at Applecross! Thought I lost all the photos from the trip but dried it and it thankfully worked fine!

The Hero 7 is good. Amazing image stabilization although I've had one or two niggles with mine with the audio not syncing properly. Otherwise, no complaints. That scenery is incredible. Great job. This was a good video.

Thank you. My first attempt at a 'proper' vlog really so I appreciate your comment. Blessed with lots of nice places to ride my bike to here in Scotland! Re the camera: A bit of a nightmare to attach to your helmet and get the right angle but once on, it's pretty good. Massive improvement over my previous camera. Only used it once do far but was pleased with the footage quality! 👍🏻👍🏻
