Thank you! I like the time warp effect at 5x. Very smooth and the viewer can still get a good sense of the surroundings when walking. 10, 15 and 30 x were a little too fast in my opinion.

Not so related to the video content but I got excited when I realized that it's a Big Spring Park in Huntsville. I used to live there a while back ago and the moment I saw the fountain at 3:07 I instantly realized the park. Great video btw!!

This might be the best GP7 review out there! Just picked up my gopro a couple of hours ago and getting ready to shoot the hell out of these Timewarps for our travel videos! :D
@sawyerrice32446 жыл бұрын
how long does the battery last doing time warp?
@DeanaandPhil6 жыл бұрын
@@sawyerrice3244 tough question. I've alsways mixed it up with normal clips like in our last video. I actually don't notice that hard of battery drops after even a 5min timewarp. Maybe I'll make a video about it. :) Battery life feels (subjectively) equal to my GoPro 5.

I love my GoPro HERO7 Black. GoPro has done alot to keep their cameras interesting, and for me nothing's more fun than time-lapse video. So YOUR video was great. Those Aukey 20000 power bricks are pricey! I've been doing fine with Brunton 5500 Heavy metals - bought 3 for $20 each. But you're right, you can't do interesting timelapse work on gopro without external power.

Great tips and video. The H7 is great. My problem is getting the video loaded to YT looking half decent. So far the hyper-smooth and lapse load looking terrible. I produce and load at 4k 3840 x 2160 60fps 50Mbps. I shot at 4k. Your video looks fine. What did you load it at? My old 3+ loaded better videos :-) Your office is way too clean...
@AuthenTech6 жыл бұрын
I love a clean office ;) I edit on a 4k timeline and upload in 4k.. Maybe that?
@lavapix6 жыл бұрын
@@blackswanrising2024 After 24 hours my video looked way better. Took some time for YT to sort it out I guess. I'd say load it as Private and make public after you know its at the best quality. That's what I do.
@robroberts20645 жыл бұрын
@Spunker Are you saying to render out edited video at higher than 50mbps for YT? I've seen videos (on YT) where people rendered 4k 30fps video at different bitrates, uploaded them all to YT, then analyzed the videos after a couple days. They said there was no difference on videos above 50mbps. I'm *not* saying you're wrong. Just curious if you have seen the difference in 4k videos rendered and uploaded >50mbps. Thanks.

Cool review! I noticed that you did not care for timewarp at x15 and x30 since it takes too long to make a video. I will point out that these settings are optimal for hiking and running - especially long races up to a Marathon. A stabilized 10 minute marathon or 5 minute half marathon video is really cool!
