I'm afraid. The fear I have for the ocean is great, there is nothing which ignites fear in me more, than the ocean. Yet, there is nothing else on the planet which sets fire to my soul than the ocean. It's beauty is immeasurable, and that, I love very much.
@rag3geCKo6 жыл бұрын
I used to fear it too. When I was younger - I nearly drowned, twice (separate occasions). Sounds ridiculous, but GoPro videos like this actually inspired me to try Scuba diving. So strong was my desire to experience that terrifying yet beautiful realm beneath, that it outweighed my fear. I no longer fear the ocean, I love her. Scuba diving is the single best thing I've done in my life. It kills me to see what we're doing to the oceans and all the life within. If the oceans die, we will quickly follow.

@@rag3geCKo I know I'm three months late, but after training for the OWC, I no longer have fear of the sea. I see the nervousness I get before every dive as excitement. Every dive into the water is an adventure. I don't even swim very well...

Saw this video last year, and thought to myself “I’ve been there!” This video got me into freediving. I thought it was so cool that I had been to a spring where GoPro filmed. I went a few months later, after I had bought my first set of freediving gear, and was able to dive to the bottom at 40 feet on my first day learning to freedive.
