I agree with everything you said. Especially about what the new camera line will be. I’m hoping we get a GoPro Pro, I don’t really think there will be enough new and exciting things in a new Hero version to make me want to upgrade from my Hero10. I don’t need more frames or higher resolution. I want continued HyperSmooth, better bigger sensor and most importantly either direct connect 3.5mm mic input or a “Mic Mod” that is at least as good as my Rode Wireless Go. A fast 1TB internal storage would be HUGE! Jeff (Papaw)

Canon cripples its cameras intentionally. A lot of KZbinrs started to use GoPros as a vlog camera. What a vlogger wants: Good stabilization, good autofocus and good audio. Stabilization is perfect inGoPro. Autofocus? No problem with that. I do not want this stupid blurry background. If I wanna show the world or my pathetic life, why do I need a blurry background? When it comes to audio... This is where GoPro fails me. I dont want to use Media Mode. A 3.5 mm. jack would be awesome. 1 inch sensor would be great. That's it. It is so simple. I liked your editing style by the way.:) You are underrated. When I started to watch video, I've thought that you have at least 100.000 subscribers.

actually the main determining factor for low light performance as it pertains to sensors, is sensor size. so even if the pixels are smaller or about the same, low light performance will still be much better provided the sensor is larger. Remember it's all about your signal to noise ratio, a larger sensor regardless of its pixel count will always have a better signal to noise ratio than a smaller sensor. (with a few exceptions of course). I assume in the pro model they will probably introduce an auto focus system finally so they can deal with the depth of field of lower apertures and larger sensors.

I have the Hero 7, 8, and 10. The 10 seems to have nailed it. The only things that would entice me to upgrade is larger sensor/better low light. I spearfish/free dive in murky waters and sometimes at the bottom it is dark. The Hero 10 seems to also be better to use underwater without a case, as it only has one single and more substantial door. Something I would like is better image compression, with smaller files and the same quality. Faster burst in still photo mode.

I still have a 3, 6, and a 9 they all work fine. But low light improvement would be nice. Battery life, it would be nice if all models come out at the same time so you could choose the camera that fits your work.

I'd love a 1" sensor with better lowlight performance. I'd like a higher bit rate in 4k 30p of 150mbps. And bring back the hdmi output port that my 7black had. And add a 3.5mm audio input, and I'd be more than happy to live with the extra size of the body.

I watched your presentation to the end, while my Premier Media was Encoding! I still use my GoPro Hero4 Silver Edition! The Hero 7 was the only recent GoPro that I would consider. Every blog that I have read complains how bad the latest GoPro are! The next camera that I buy is the 3 year old Sony FDR X-300!

Honestly though, 4Kx240... Who really needs it? Or 8k right now. It's just unnecessary for the majority of the public that would use this. I'd just like to see better low-light handling and a kinder approach to external microphones like you. Their approach to microphones is so clumsy right now. Great vid my man. Don't know if you spotted it, but there's some weird tearing going on with your camera/editing-software. Check out around 4:55. when you move your head. There's a vertical bar that seems to clip your rugged good looks... And we can't have that now, can we ;)

Think if they came out with a drone they would partner with iFlight or GepRc or someone like that. 8k would be nice to be able to crop in, but think 6k would be good enough. And yes better lowlight would be great. But yes I don't want it to get any bigger or heavier.

I'm just surprised at how few people asked for better low light capability. As it stands, action cameras suck in low light, yet these cameras are the perfect size for taking with you on a night out so, yeah, still waiting for the perfect party cam here.

I would get it if they fix the stabilization issue. Unfortunately, you can’t pan side to side with stabilization on without getting frame jumping with the Hero 10. According to GoPro, you need to use a gimbal to get smooth panning for side to side (turn off stabilization). They are going to fix it with a firmware update. So I hope they re-engineer how stabilization works with the release of the Hero 11.

Also, GoPro 10 hindsight recording feature, camera kicks out itself from that mode that user cannot even notice??? It did to me...and that's main reason why I returned that on time. Well, if I miss my footage due to camera malfunction, then the brand, quality, pricing, resolution, slow-mo...bla, bla....is not going to do me any good.

I like how you have opened tha battery door, removed the battery, inserted new one - and closed the door. So smooooth. Well, in real world it goes like this: you pop open the door, it falls out, you cannot grab the tab on battery to pull it out, once you manage to pull it out after few tries, you insert new battery - then have to reinstall the door, before you close it.

It does not matter as long as the camera is not reliable. Freezes and looses videos and let's not forgget "the fun" with the media mod when you record for 10min and after you realise you have no sound. That's always fun, specially when you film in locations unlikely to visit a second time. Even if it was 10$ I still won't trust it to buy this unreliable camera.

The only thing GoPro needs is better low light performance, its perfect in all other aspects. Cause current gopro sucks so hard when you are not filming at direct sunlight. Even cloudy days or forests can make gopro look like shit and far worse than competition.

Shame I had the 9 which was great but using the menu was so painful. Literally so frustrating. I was looking forward to the 10 but I didn’t get it because of all the horrendous over heating issues. So in the end I went to insta 360

Yes the 9 did have some annoying lag on the menu screens, but honestly my 10 has never overheated, not once. I guess your usage is different, how are you getting on with the insta360?

i'll never buy a new gopro again - 4 strikes now. they are full of issues for 12 months at least. had the 7, 8, 9, 10 and now only run the 7b it fits all my accessories and the newer ones just let me down time and time again - overheating, constant lock ups and loss of files. if they do 4 cameras the need to sell 4x the amounts to sustain their business with new cases and unique accessories if they don't fix live stream their stuffed
