It's aight, and that's the problem. It's the best GoPro yet, but marginally. They just ain't doing enough with DJI coming for their necks. I bought the action 4 and love it. If they don't completely drop the ball down the line, I plan on staying with the action series going forward.

I love it, just got one and it’s my first GoPro. Is it perfect? No. Is it fun? Yea! And that’s what matters. I just carry it with me everywhere and document my daily life, and I never worry about hurting it. It’s a little beast.

action cameras look amazing . Compared to what they used to be a few years back I’ve got the DJI action4 after watching your video review. Very happy with it. GoPro 12 looks great too but battery and overheating 🥵 and freezing is something I don’t miss. Dji man now thanks for the video 📷😎

Great video and appreciate you being an honest broker. For me, I think it still falls short of the DJI and I'm glad I picked up the Action 4 instead. The front-facing touch screen, no need for a Media Mod for external video, better battery life, and the lowlight capability just make the DJI a winner for me. GoPro is still a great camera, but I don't think it's the king anymore.

I'm still on the GoPro hero 10 and if I switch to anything I think it's going to be the DJI osmo action. 4. I think I'm done with GoPro I just really don't think they know how to make sauce anymore

I like it for the most part. Priced well at $299 with the subscription right now. I think the screen was the compromise GoPro made to keep the cost down. I have an 11 mini, Hero Max and am debating whether to add the Go 3 or the DJI action 2 to my kit. Maybe should work on my production before buying another camera though, lol.

@EvanPeix, How? A2/3 has the same sensor, resolution and just different body. A4 is a bigger sensor but lowlight still sucks (better than GP doesn’t mean it’s better, both sucks). Same resolution and frame rates. So all same since GP9? How is that innovation? Man, the internet is full of fiction and lots of emotional buyers, mostly user errors. And I have both, GP7/8/9/10/12 and DJI A1/2/3 and used the A4 from a friend and returned to him and waiting for A5 or A6 if they keep using the same resolution and frame rates

Yeah, for me and the way im using my hero 10 which is for electric scooter content using a Chesty Mount for it, it still doesn't convince me to replace my hero 10. They removed the GPS which for me is needed to see the difference in what the display of the electric scooters o try out says vs what gopro says on miles per hour. I would actually like to try out DJI or the Insta360 Cameras at least as long as i can still use my chesty mount for these other two brands im good. Im aware that thw DJI Action 4 requires a separate remote for GPS but it lets you record in 4K 60fps without overheating fast. That sounds pretty good to me. 😅

The Hero 12 is just a Hero 11 without the GPS chip. So it should be actually cheaper than its predecessor. The tripod mount is nice. An alternative way of screwing.

gopro should do firmware update to gopro 11, and we will have same camera as 12 ;p just they cut gps and put bluetooth inside
