Some of you might have seen this video a few days ago. I realized that KZbin had not processed HDR yet, so I made the video private until it finished processing.

So it take more time for KZbin to process than a regular video?

@@skkver_runs yes, but KZbin isn’t explicit about it. KZbin processes your video, and shows that it completed processing just like normal. But that’s only for SDR. KZbin continues processing HDR in the background. It takes several hours per minute of HDR footage

Great video! I just my new GoPro 13 and going to post a video of it color graded in 10 bit as well! I fly FPV so doing comparison videos are hard unless I fly the same route. Thanks for the video '

Heya, hoping that you are using Davinci Resolve, and if you do, what setting did you use for HDR?

In mode HDR HLG on is 60 fps avaliable in 4k or 5.3k ?

Can you please confirm are any "HDR" or Log profiles available with ultrawide lens mode options? I believe you can manually force hero 13 to ultrawide mode without the lens if you dont have one. I skipped Hero 12 because Log or HDR were not available yet with Max Lens 2.0. Log 4k 50 fps with ultrawide lens mod would be perfect for me. Thanks.

Great! I’ve been waiting for this video. Thanks. Great tests, easy to understand. I feel like HLG HDR is much better than a regular desaturated -0.5 exposition. I myself prefer a heavier color grading in FCP with dehancer etc.

Can you tell me in what resolution and framerates you can record in HGL HDR?

Last night I was thinking about making this same exact kind of video, but I don't have my Hero 13 yet. Nice job. I like the more natural-looking HLG. Maybe bring exposure down a step in ProTune settings helps.

HLG HDR has no cats!!! Would it make a difference when SDR footage would be uploaded as a separate KZbin video in SDR? It might be my mobile phone screen in a bright enviromment, but the HLG HDR looks somewhat dull to me compared to the SDR ones. Of course the SDR clips have partially blown out highlights. To be honest, I even don't know whether my mobile phone screen supports HDR...

@@ephemeralmoments lol I wondered if anybody would mention the disappearing cat 😆 it definitely could be that your phone doesn’t support HDR. I watched on SDR and HDR screens, you can tell a difference
