GoPro Hero 2 How to Shoot and Edit Time Lapse Part 2

In this video I show you how to shoot and edit a time lapse with the GoPro Hero 2. I also talk about batteries for the Go Pro and how long they last. The Go Pro battery last about 2hr and 40 minutes of strait time lapse shooting and the third party battery that was 1350mah I got 2hr and 45 minutes. Being able to edit the pictures in the time lapse and rename the photos takes some time this hole work flow is about 2 to 3hr for around 2400 photos. This work flow will work with and sequences of photos.

Size and very durable it can take a beating plus with a cheap water proof case you can shoot in water. I would get a T2I first but a great camera to have around.

Seems easier just to shoot a video with the Go Pro plugged in the whole time, drop the file into your editor and speed it up.

Try attaching a 550 to your helmet while bombing hills on a skateboard. Try diving with it without purchasing additional gear. Try attaching it to a pole for self-shots while doing sports. Hold the pole between two fingers... Plus it costs quite a bit more. So basically, your question is the equivalent of "what's the point of an action cam when you could use a giant heavy ENG camera on a huge camera trolley and have a camera operator and a cable guy follow you around?".
