The thing that really strikes me is how your confidence on the bike has grown from last year. Remember how unsure of yourself you were? Its great to see how well you ride now. I'd like to video my bike rides but I'd never make a good vlogger because I don't talk while riding. I've actually tried to talk to myself while riding, like I was a vlogger but I made myself laugh at how stupid I sounded, lol! I think I'll leave it to the professionals! I don't know how you manage to keep it interesting and entertaining, but you sure do. You keep doing your thing and I'll keep watching.

Thanks so much, Earl! It felt weird at first to “talk to myself”, but just became one more thing that I do on the bike. But I don’t talk out loud when I’m not recording, because that would be weird. 😁

Great video! My neice got a double wide in Ocala in 08. She had me come down to fix the place up. It needed electrical work, floors in areas and the plumbing fixed in one of the bathrooms. We went riding dirtbikes and quads. Horses too. We had a great time the two weeks I was there. I like the panhandle alot. It has alot of the old rural areas that still has that old school Florida charm. I loved Naples when I started going there with my father in the late 80s. Now it is so overgrown, I don't like it anymore. They subdivided all the business lots. Put 3 more stores in the same space. Most of Southern Florida has gone that way. Everytime I go back to visit, I am amazed at how much it has grown and changed. Have a great weekend. I just got done working about 18 hours in a blizzard lol. Stay awesome hun!

How often do you update your camera, reformat it, . . . ? The reason I'm interested in the updates and formatting is because my cameras seem to do strange things. Freezing is only one of my issues. The original Hero 9 has been replaced twice in a year and I'm getting very frustrated. I would also be interested in hearing about your editing software and the microphone you use. For my riding videos, I only have engine or exhaust notes. I would like to add some vocals. Right now an independent voice recorder (Zoom H1n) goes under my rear seat for exhaust sounds. With the Gopro, it's pure mechanical sounds. Sort of like a sewing machine on steroids.
@GingerDashMoto3 жыл бұрын
I think each model of GoPro has its own peculiarities, but I have never updated firmware on my cameras. While I know that can be done, I’ve always elected not to unless they weren’t functioning properly. The only way to get vocals is to add a mic in your helmet. I use the Purple Panda (there’s a link in the description), and it’s a popular choice for motovloggers. You could also run a mic from your Zoom recorder up to your helmet. A lot of that is personal choice. I edit with Premiere Pro. I hope you find a camera that works well and a setup you like!
@64t120r2 жыл бұрын
@@GingerDashMoto Ya, they have their own peculiarities, but there a quite a few commonalities between them. Let's face it, their cameras are just updates of what's come before. I've been looking at them to find common causes for known issues. So far it boils down to formatting the SD card and updates. We'll see what happens. I use an older version of Premiere and it works well. I'll let you know when I put out a new video. Maybe you'll like it.
@whskywolf3 жыл бұрын
I recently started videoing my rides, I got a Purple Panda mic and I tested mic position by just wearing the helmet in the apartment, sounds alright, but on bike it like it too close to my mouth and my voice is really loud, I even tried speaking softer any ideas? Great video though always enjoy seeing locations people ride.
@GingerDashMoto3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! I moved the mic around a few times and tested it out before finding a solid position for it. All of my vents are closed and I’m using the dead cat cover. My volume is too loud, but still clear, in my recordings. I adjust the volume down in Premiere Pro while editing, and then it’s just right. Maybe some combination of the above will help.

Hey Nate! I use Premiere Pro. There’s a preset for exporting for youtube (several, actually), and I use the 1080p HD option. Much will depend on the editing program you are using.
