GoPro Hero 9 vs RunCam Thumb Pro V2 - No, seriously.

First quick side by side test of GoPro Hero 9 and new RunCam Thumb Pro V2. I thought this would be a stupidly unfair test given the massive difference in price between these two. GoPro @ 4K @ 60FPS. GoPro Colour. RunCam 4K 'xview' @ 30FPS. Auto everything. I set the saturation to high as it was just completely flat and pretty colourless otherwise. Stabilised with GyroFlow. Was seriously windy and it couldn't quite mask all of the shakes. But still pretty impressed for a $99 camera.

I have a Thumb Pro too, the main issue is jello, jello, jello ! Actually I Put the Thumb Pro on a O3 quad and I cried, the O3 stab with gyroflow too is much much better and the price isn't like a GOPro. Did you find a way (setting, ND) to reduce the Jello ? Nice video.

Tbh... I gave up on the RunCam and sold it to a mate! 😬I splashed on a DJI Action 2 - which I got for about half the price of a GoPro. It does a damn good job and at about 56g it's a third of the weight and goes on my tiny Crux35HD. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpPKXpmqlJapqdUsi=eI7z79qWjKcbXpXR - I do think my next quad is an O3 one tbh - footage looks awesome. 👍

@@davidpride3160 I spent few hours trying to change setting on the Cam, flew it then in gyroflow. I gave up too ! I was thinking about the Gopro 10 Bones but it's impossible to find in asia. I'm going to switch my plane to O3. Vista is easy on second hand market here ! Thanks for you answer.

Soft mount your camera will remove the jello
