Thanks Rico! I generally export all my footage in Premiere Pro and upload from my computer. I find any mobile app export and upload has terrible quality. This was filmed with my GoPro on a gimbal before the Hero9 came out with the Max Lens Mod. Now you don't really need a gimbal to achieve this horizon leveling footage.

It's my Garmin bike computer. It's attached to a Barfly Mount so it sits above the headset compression cap.

I have a Feiyutech Gimbal. It has a threaded hole at the back and my chest mount has a bolt that sticks out the front. It doesn't use any GoPro style mounting plates.

Do you think the gimbal made a difference? The Hero 8 already has really smooth footage. I do hear gimbals help a lot in low light situations though

It does have pretty great video but it seems like it sacrafices the pixelation of the video in order to make it steady. Somewhat blurry when it's getting rocked around good. The gimbal seems like it got rid of that and I think this is the best setup I've seen on KZbin.

Yeah the issue with Hypersmooth Boost setting is you can't use Superview. This means the sensor is cropped and the field of view narrows and you miss out on seeing the handlebars.

Aye I have same blurry issue. Do you suppose it is because youtube is converting from whatever down to 1080p? I filmed some in 1080p 60fps linear and those videos look so much better. Curious if you have some insight here....

Possibly. You could try shoot 2.7 or 4k. Also if you are exporting from the app it may be downscaling it somehow. I usually edit on my computer. If it's not bright sunshine you may also need to crank up your ISO.
