I think a fisheye lens is great for capturing the essence of being surrounded by giant towering buildings in a city or trees/cliffs in nature, or capturing the claustrophobic feeling of a large crowd of people. It's not for tracking subjects or shooting a scene, it's for landscape shots when you want to capture a feeling to add an extra dimension to your photo or video that somewhat emulates the actual feeling of being there in person.

I don’t know if that would work that well with the fisheye effect. I’m pretty terrible with glass effect but I have a feeling the zoom with the fisheye would have some consequences

It’s such a pity that gopro has no 50-85mm lens to offer. I could bring that in good use for interviews as a second/third shot perspective with a smallcamera/small footprint

I was hoping to find one to shoot single shots of two people driving in a car. It’s a more limited market than most of these lenses, but definitely more mainstream than the anamorphic lens.

I have the Anamorphic Lens on my GoPro 10. It is just awesome. I use the Davinci Studio 18 to squeeze it down. Anamorphic lens is really a must on the Gopro 9, 10, & 11.

At 2.56 you say the mod lens keeps your footage level , that's not the case and you can't have horizon lock with the mod lens. Correct me if I'm wrong . I did a test today with the mod 2 on the 11 4k linea horizon lock and it worked incredibly well but I did get occasional vignette on certain rotations the 12 also vignettes as well but not as bad.

The best lenses I used are the freewell cpl/nd filters and the k&f concept cpl/nd filters both are very similar. Freewell also of offer a clear cpl filter too. As you know working at sea you need a cpl filter.

Great question to reduce background noise if you can’t record in a quiet place then you might need to use a noise reducer in your editing. Hope that has helped

Anamorphic Lens for MTB POV Content where we use the most of time Superview Mode to see both: the Track an the Handlebars at same Time but there´s too much Fisheye at Superview and you really dont see the depths of the Track. Would the Anamorphic lens fix that?

So I love making videos with the GoPro Hero Max especially in 360 it’s my go to camera do you think GoPro will release a Max 2 with a 8K sensor and a 200 megapixel would be a good camera. I hope they add a 8K sensor in the Go Pro 12 with 10bit 4222. Let’s say if they did can you imaging how beautiful and life like that camera would be it would be the king of the cameras for such a small sensor with the pack a punch gimbal stabilisationthis would be my only camera I would need to make movies.

Do you guys feel that when changing the lense in the GoPro, it does not fit right and there is some gap in between the GoPro and the lense? This makes that moisture gets inside of the lens and gets wet from inside… then all footage is f*cked. And I say this with its own GoPro 11 lense, not any ND filter nor Max lense. I am afraid to take it to the water and have all my shots thrown to be bin. Any solution/recommendation to this problem?

Love the tips, Got a question for you though. I live stream softball games and we attach to the fence but one thing I notice that I'm trying to find a solution for is that the view is to zoomed out. Would like to see if there is a lens that can be found that allows for a closer view, it doesn't sound like the macro lens would work. I tried the Max Lens Mod and the fisheye issue can't be solved while doing the live stream. Wish there was a small physical zoom lens attachment that would allow for this but I haven't found one and doubt it would ever happen.
