What if I have suction cup can I just buy the normal one and use it with my suction cup is also the go pro suction cup.

Yup… that is correct. That’s what i did and had double thoughts since i had a suction mount. But yes, if you have a suction mount already, you can just get the regular one.

I'd be interested to see how it works on an actual mountain bike. An e-bike like yours is more like a scooter. The seat is much lower than the handlebars. Therefore, the rider sits much lower and farther back from the handlebars. Those e-bikes also have good suspension. An actual bicycle, such as a mountain bike or road bike, has a completely different geometry. The seat is much higher. It's normally level with the handlebars, and the rider is therefore also much higher and sitting farther forward, even leaning over the handlebars. My question is whether this Boom Arm can position a GoPro high enough and far enough forward in order to face back towards the rider for vlogging. To my eyes, it looks too short. It works fine on your e-bike. But I'm not convinced it could be used for vlogging on an actual bicycle. I hope it is. But I haven't seen a proper test on a regular bicycle yet.

I totally agree and understand. But yea - on my next video I'll be using this again about a wireless microphone and I'll be using my regular bike. But yes it is a bit shorter than how we really want it to be. Cool thing about it is that it is really tight.

@@LJFELIX I left a similar comment on Air Photography's review of the Boom Arm, and he replied with an interesting perspective. He said it's possible that you will be able to purchase an additional arm link. That would mean a total of three for perhaps a length of 30 inches. That would make it significantly longer. Assuming it's still stable enough at that length, that would solve this issue for me. You mentioned using a wireless microphone as well. And I would be doing the same, and that adds considerably to the weight this Boom Arm has to support. I have the GoPro Hero 9 in the Media Mod with the addition of a Rode Wireless Go receiver. That's a lot more weight to support than just the GoPro on its own. I was thinking that perhaps the included "Triangulation Support Slider" could be used to place a supporting brace underneath the first arm link. That would work out nicely. I'm currently managing to do this with a wooden broomstick (or axe handle) clamped to my bicycle frame. That's the only DIY rig I've been able to come up with that is strong enough and stable enough. If this Boom Arm can do the same thing, it would be much better since it is so much smaller and lighter and simpler. So far, your review of the new Boom Arm and that of Air Photography are the only ones I've been able to find on KZbin or anywhere else.

@@LJFELIX The KZbinr "Rush Media" bought two different versions of the GoPro Boom Arm and made a video about them.
