GoPro Wakeboarding- First Attempt

Bucket list item after taking my camera snowboarding while in fursuit (video to come) was to attempt to hold the camera while wakeboarding. Filmed at Lake Powell, Utah. August 2016
Spoilers: No exciting tricks or wipeouts happen, sorry. This was mostly just a test to prove to everyone it was even possible and see what kind of shots and angles work best. (Though I've always wanted to do a wipeout compilation video, I've got some nice ones from nearly the past two decades at the lake.)

Nice! I couldn't imagine wake boarding AND holding a camera at the same time! Now that I've ever been wake boarding, but I've water skied, and knee boarded, and having hands is kind of a big deal, lol. Beautiful scenery. I never realized how rough that stuff actually is on your legs until seeing this.

Thank you so much for your comments! I hadn't been wakeboarding in over two years so performing for the GoPro gave me extra motivation to go out and try it again. I'm rather out of shape and the waves were a bit rough so it was definitely a challenge to do it entirely one-handed with all those conditions! Lake Powell is my favorite place on earth largely because of the scenery. I've knee boarded but have yet to actually try water skiing, perhaps we'll both have a new goal then!
