Can someone explain how he can do the BMX-style trick on the Rubik's Cube where the whole bike swings around the front fork, when there's a brake line going down to the front disc brake? I know the rear brake line goes down thru the headset, but seems like the front one would still get caught up.

It's the opposite way. The front brake line goes through the headset and the rear brake line goes from the handle bar to the frame. If the rear one came out of the fork it would get caught aswell since the fork is in the way. The way it's done here the rear line can wrap around the headset 1 or 2 turns. Danny resets the handle bar by turning it the opposite direction everytime after he did that trick.
