Well, Ultra Beasts are that, taken up to eleven - not merely from foreign lands, but from foreign parallel realities. - Nihilego: A jellyfish that parasitizes other beings, infecting them with neurotoxin that amplifies their obsessions. - Buzzwole: A large mosquito that swells its body with fluid, and loves to pose. - Pheromosa: A slender cockroach that can run around very quickly. - Xurkitree: A cable-like tree with a spiky glowing head, that absorbs electricity from the ground or power plants. - Celesteela: A giant bamboo rocket with two large floating limbs. - Kartana: A tiny origami doll with absurdly sharp edges. - Guzzlord: A giant big-mouthed monster with an impossibly insatiable appetite. - Poipole: A tiny creature that shoots adhesive from its head antenna. - Naganadel: A large draconic wasp that shoots adhesive from its stinger. - Stakataka: A mass of sentient "bricks" that form a walking rampart. - Blacephalon: A clown-like ghost with a regrowable head that explodes like fireworks.
