Goratha's Bleed Gladiator Eviscerate + Retaliation League Start Plans!! DEFINITELY totally not bait

Hey Goratha and Peoples! xDD Couple Notes! 1. Eviscerate requires level 16, so you can't swap to it at level 12. Don't get thrown off my dudes! ;D 2. T7 Bramble Valley has the Ryslatha Coil Card (9/9) so don't complete it, and save your Kirac Div Missions for it! You can get lucky and drop a full stack of either the Ryslatha card or The Scout (7 exalted orbs). Work towards it 1/9, but keep your eyes out for the full stack divination card Mission, it's uncommon, but not particularly rare. (Leave it as the only uncompleted T7 map) 3. The mod weighting on EVA vs. AR/EVA of [SHIELD] Spell Suppression is 500 vs. 1000 at all iLvLs, so roll EVA for early spell suppression gearing! 4. You can cap your bleed chance with vulnerability (or with a 5% jewel). Consider Ruthless > Volatility pre-Ryslatha's Coil? You can low-roll your bleeds with Volatility and that'll hurt your damage (60k to 4.7M vs. (ruthless: 196k to 3.8M) - Ruthless applies on every 3rd hit, which makes it feel a little clunky, low-rolling 60k vs. 200k is a big difference, experiment folks :D * 'Lil addendum, be mindful of your bleed duration with Volatility/Ryslathas; the difference in bleed DPS range matters most for the bossing setup where the gap between the low-end and the high-end is massive. Volatility depends a lot on how the uptime of the retaliation skills ends up. 5. Quickstep or Courage are another good optional early annoint with 10-15% Spell Suppression & some armor! :D (I would look to start annointing by like ~ T10 maps or so. 80% with lucky mastery is great, but aim to cap out long-term for red maps.

They implied a lot of the div cards are moving, so remember to double check which map drops the coil card (the offspring? something like that) before using those kirac missions. Thankfully we'll now be able to see it in game.

isn't "The Offspring" a restricted drop from the area boss of the map? so if you kill it in the kirac mission, the map is completed and you can't force it to appear anymore. or is there something i'm not considering?

@@cello1993 if remember correctly, you do your whole atlas except the maps you want to farm, then just don’t kill the boss. with this, if you use "explorer's souting reports" kirac missions will be on those maps you didn't complete, so you do the missions to get a div card stack, and when you get it, you portal off the map and start another without killing the boss

@@FabienHH Yeah honestly for retal I think bleed is bait. Eviscerate if it double hits is 2700% effectiveness and fist is 2200%. You may as well just treat them as effective as slams but not needing to use warcries 24/7 and scale off that fact instead. You still need attack speed to make crushing fist feel good but if you can spam retals faster than any slams ever could you're in serious business for DPS. OR you go shield charge and glacial shield swipe and be a shield build and utilize varunastra for the buffs with Seething fury for some insane clear. Varunastra enables more aoe, accuracy, more crit for seething, 15% more dmg and instant leech. You're gaming with that and glacial sweep does fucking insane flat dmg.

Nice, I was trying to make my own Eviscerate perfect agony build using Ambush but after spending the time making the build the very next RAQ had "Oh yeah these can't be exerted." So I cried a little. I like the idea of chaining multiple eviscerates to bleed fish, I also am not at all concerned with risky builds when I know builds I can quickly pivot to if things don't work out.

I reckon you could use one of the new rings with the wildwood marks, specifically the penance mark one for bosses to have constant lucky strike and retaliations available. it's called The Hateful Accuser nameless ring. On a different note, what do you think of getting ward gear? since you're seldomly hit ward would be nice for the big hits that pass through block, therefore not needing spell suppression at all

Will be interesting to see if No Forgiveness (annoint) can be useful enough to replace Measured Retaliation, that could mean you can get Aggrevated Bleed from the ascendant tree and perhaps save some points on the passive tree to spend elsewhere.. maybe the CDR passives in the lower left corner? Lots of testing and choices to explore which is fun!

Hey just wondering if Retaliation skills work with Fatal Flourish (it is the duelist forbidden Jewel note) it doesnt work with Multistrike tey changed Multistrike to not support it, but fatal Flourish does a similar effect so I think it could work and give you twice the chance for the resets also dmg would be really high

I noticed something about Eviscerate. The gem mentions a "base wave length" and "base wave width." This is similar to wording on Divine Ire and Crackling Lance that mention "beam length" and "beam width." Those beam area components are not affected by area of effect modifiers. If Eviscerate has the same type of area mechanic, it might not benefit from that aoe retaliation wheel.

I'm going to use a similar build! Will take more retaliation nodes I'm going to use the surrender shield (for the lvl 30 crushing fist) and alternate between crushing fist and eviscerate. I'm also going to invest on rage, because of the "Vengeful cry", so I will have 3 retal skils in total, giving a lot of value to the "make another retaliation skill become usable", I'm not sure if this is going to make them bypass CD or if it's just the blocking requirement. Will have to test that out.

Hello, in the PoB notes, there's "For mapping we go with Jagged Technique, this is since for clearing we want to hit a target once and have it bleed properly." But with More Than Skill, Determined Survivor, Measured Retaliation and Gratuitous Violence, that's.. 4 🙂 What we're supposed to drop, if anything for that? Bossing, dropping bleed-pop for War of Attrition, ok. But map clearing the idea is to drop Measured Retaliation? Cheers!

So there is 77% increased CDR for retaliation skills on passive tree. And the support gem gives 88% MORE CDR. If my calculations are right, eviscrate has 3 sec cooldown, with 77% cdr, cooldown reduces to 1.69 second. Since the support gem gives more cdr, i added it's crd after and it reduces it to 0.90 second cooldown. 0.90 sec cooldown means 1.11 attack speed assuming you can keep up the trigger by blocking and Gladiator ascendency Measured Retaliation. You can increase cdr even more with items but i am not sure if you can keep triggering it as often. So lets compare it another skill that is used for bleed and looks similar Lacerate of Haemorrhage. It has a 346% base damage. Evis has 1345%. That means evis hits 3.89 (or %289 more) times of LoH. But wit LoH you would have 172% more damage with bleeding. It's hard to theory craft without playing. Hard to tell how would it feel. But to me, it seems decent but not so great dps. It would be really hard to keep up with triggers against bosses so this would probably be very bad at bossing.

LoH: 346x1.72=595(%) for everyhit Evis: 1345% which is 226% more dam than LoH 1.11 AS sounds not bad to me at all since Evis has 10 meters wave length and can double hit close ranger to fish for the big bleed number (lucky bleed I guess) If we can pingpong between retaliation, we only need to block once at the beginning of the map then zoom zoom

​@@KimPham-kkk With lacerate you would get probably more than 2.0 AS. And without trigger trouble. But only half damage. And with bleeddot AS doesn't matter as much as high damage. But still, in a boss fight. Lets say you blockded first attack. 70% chance to you can use retalation again. 35% chance to another retaliation triggered. This means 19.5 chance to trigger nothing. 1 of each 5 attacks avaragely. With 1.11 AS, if you block like once every 5 seconds you can keep hitting a retaliation skill. But most bosses you dodge pretty much everything, With the new Penance Mark unique ring it can be really doable since it will keep summoning minions. I don't have an idea how rare and expensive it would be though.

I've made a few gladiator builds with counter attacks in the past. Very fun build but can be slow. What about The Surrender shield? War cries to draw enemies to you? I used to use cyclone so I can attack more while getting hit and blocking at the same time. Damage was low but that was years ago. Back then I could sit in mobs like Simulacrum and not even attack. Just stand there and clear it. Leech was very important. What about Petrified Blood?

I'm seeing different numbers in PoB than shown in video. you have 68/62 block in cruel lab retaliation tree but i only have 68/22. Has the PoB been changed since this video? Which PoB should i be following

If something just says "Speed" it means action speed. If you are trying to use Retaliation skills as your main source of damage, the Retaliation Speed skills will be absolutely required for DPS. For bleed? Probably less important. Might be more comfy to grab a couple tho.

100% nooba here. What is the best way to switch build from 2h sunder to 1h+shield lacerate? Many, many nodes change in that process so i have to farm those orbs of regret/refund nodes from NPC or something else? That switch changes even early nodes so it requires many refund points. Any advices?

The POB has exerted/boosted clac mode set to max even though you do not use exerted attacks. The damage hit from unchecking this box is substantial

I think you have to use Vengeful Cry to make use of Prepared Response (25% chance when you use a Retaliation Skill for a different Retaliation Skill to become Usable) since all the other skills also require a blocked hit and Prepared Response doesn't reset the CD

Considering you're fishing for a big bleed and its duration is like 10s with the tree he's got I wouldn't consider it necessary, especially if you use the retaliation support for almost 90% cdr

Crimson dance cuts the bleed in half. So base damage is 247% for blade storm per blade 1/2 and x8 is 988% whereas eviscerate is almost 1300% and you can also aggravate for more damage which crimson dance nullifies
