Great video. The story of the veteran’s bbq was exceptionally interesting to me. Keep up the great work!

I truly enjoy these series. I learn so much. As a Virginian it’s good to get out of my “comfort zone” and learn about the Western Campaigns. Thanks, all.

We live in East Brainerd, Tennessee, which is about 20 minutes from the Chickamauga Battlefield. We go there a lot and went to the 156th anniversary I believe it was, just last September. Very excited to hear what you all ha e in store for us now in our neck of the woods!

I’m in Ooltewah and have been going to the battlefield my entire life. Only in the last few years I have realized how large a battle this was.

I am beyond excited for these videos! My contribution to the trip was small, but so very worth it! Mr. Ogden is a Legend! Thank you ABT for giving Chickamagua some love!

Constantly amazed at all the vintage cannon at these sites. Would have thought scrap drives during WW1 and 2 would have done them in

Working on my genealogy and I find that the ancestors who fought on either side all seem to have been at Chickamauga.

I’m from Tennessee and have family on both sides of this battle. The Civil war was tragic and reached each and every family in some way.

Been there many years ago. Looks like it has grown up quite a bit since then. We saw Lee and Gordan's mill when it was kind of derelict and almost ruins. Later went back when running another tour and it had been all fixed up and painted. Actually, preferred seeing it looking more worn down. Looked remarkedly like the period pictures of it. Same thing with Carnton. When I first saw it nobody was there and got to lounge on the back porch where the dead bodies of the generals killed there at Franklin had all been laid out. Went back later and there was a fence around it and access to the building was limited.

General Rosecrans is my great great ...grandfather, he got a bum rap. He was a great taction , had he been reinforced, he wouldn't have lost the battle , and been gone even deeper into the south. He was to spread out.
