I guess that what's good for the michigoose is good for.... Sorry, had to. Thanks for the comment.

My God what a wonderful tribute not just the amazing cover but the time it must have taken to find the list of the crew members. Old Faithful you just don't have incredible talent you have a very real human side. So glad I found your site. My privilege and honor to add my meager approvals..

@@oldfaithfulcovers Just a question. How did you get the slide effects in your guitar not shown?? Very realistic. Great job
@oldfaithfulcovers11 ай бұрын
@@Byrdfan There are actually 4 or 5 guitars not shown; all noodling around for the ocean/wind/storm ambiance. A number of those parts were played with a glass slide. Thanks.

Another great cover, keep it up. How about some Hank Williams Senior, the legend.

Thanks. I tried to channel my inner Canadian, but it might be more like the Muppets Swedish Chef.

Are you not playing the lead guitar part? Why did you not show? In any case, your vocals are very good and an amazing important part of what makes this song unique.

My videos are merely a way to present my cover recordings. The music takes me between 30 and 40 hours per song to produce. Since it's a one man operation (mostly), all parts on the videos are mimed. Not all parts are represented. Time spent on videos is time not spent on recording music, which is far more important to me. Glad you're liking the channel..

Gordon Lightfoot is a Canadian legend. Good cover but the lead guitar on the original was more haunting.

The difference between pro and amateur. I hope you looked past that.

I am sorry, I did not mean this as a criticism. It was just an observation. But I am very glad you replied. As I said, good cover. This song is an anthem to those who died on the Edmund Fitzgerald. Gordon Lightfoot became very good friends with the families, almost a part of their families, attending many reunions with them. I saw Lightfoot in concert a number of times, the earliest in 1967, in Hamilton Ontario. His music always brings back many fond memories. Keep up the great work. As previously said, I love your cover of Goin' Home, another great tune.

@@boomerang9967 I have fairly thick skin. I never viewed your comment as a criticism. I'm glad that you responded to my cover.
