I really like how, the minute these two cracked and Gordon realised how emotionally vulnerable these two brothers were, he largely stopped the yelling and the bordeline abusive "the truth is cruel" talk, and immediately took a positive/constructive approach. He/the team clocked that they were more lost and scared than in denial, and so he went with showing them how well their restaurant can work at lunchtimes, and giving them a way to vent their frustrations and insecurities. It's not often that Gordon softens his approach that much, shows how aware he is of other people's mental states

These two actually followed Gordon’s advice and they had a good run. I believe they sold or shut it down due to family stuff. So while it may be closer, it was successful. And its closing had nothing to do with the service.

This was one of the saddest episodes for me. Always felt a little emotional for them, especially during the moment one of the twins believes they were a failure. Sincerely hope they’re doing well in their lives now.
