Gordon Ramsay injured in ‘really bad’ cycling accident

In this video posted to his social media, he lifted his chef's whites to show substantial purple bruising on his torso for which he required hospital treatment.
Addressing the message to "all the dads out there" ahead of Father's Day on Sunday, the star of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen stressed the importance of wearing a helmet.

As a cyclist who NEVER rides without my helmet, I approve this message. I used to work in an Aquired Brain Injury ward in the UK. Nobody wants an abi, they're horrific and life changing. Protect your head, people.

Also another important thing! Always remember to replace your helmet after any kind of fall or accident. They work wonders to save your life, but only once. The material within can only compress once, after that, it's hard as brick
