Puff pastry is completely different to choux (pronounced shoe) pastry which is what he made in this video. Puff pastry is probably harder though as it requires you to lay it out and roll in slabs of butter the fold it, roll it again and repeat so it's really flaky when cut like a croissant. There is rough puff pastry as well which is easier as you just mix pieces of butter in rather than folding in large rectangle slabs.
