Ebi overtime rules is that you either start in spiderweb (modified sidecontrol with an arm for armbar attempt) or start on your back. You have one minute to submit your opponent. If your opponent escapes from your control, you have to beat his escape time. If you submit your opponent, your opinion will have a chance to try to submit you, but if he doesn't do it within the time you set, you win. Tldr: you take turns in spiderweb/ back control until someone gets a fast submission or escape.

The dedication/obsession some people have towards winning - Jordan, Kobe etc - is almost psychopathic, sociopathic. But if they lost, all they lost is a game. Gordon will break/tear arms, legs, anything to get the win. That's a whole extra level of determination. I can't stand Gordon, I really don't like him. But his will to win might be higher than even the Kobe, Jordan and Ronaldo's of the world.

The amount of subconscious thought in every move he makes is unreal. I learned a single move in BJJ last night that was 6 sequential steps. I practiced the move about 15 times during class but I’m still nowhere near the speed I would need to be to perform it effectively on a white belt (the lowest belt). Gordan could perform the move effectively on any belt, from multiple positions, and multiple variations without thinking about it. He could do the same with probably a hundred or more different moves, all in different scenarios. He just knows craft inside and out and it’s second nature.

Thats how it is when you have a record of like frickin 200-9 with your last loss being over 50+ matches and like 5-6 years ago ago, at that point you prove you are objectively the best, are there guys at or close Ish to his level though of course I don't know the sport much at all but just takes like 20 minutes of lookin into most of them are brazillian leandro lo tragically murdered at age 32 by some scumbag in a bar he actually had a win over Ryan in there only match and had close to his level of accomplishments, sadly never got to rematch, Pena he has a win over Ryan maybe even 2 back while ago but since Ryan has beat him like 3 straight times, few others but yeah Ryan is who is listed as #1 because that's what the stats skills and records show based on objective merit is all.

@danielhicks4826 24 күн бұрын
He also does despite how annoying it is to fans and despite how its seen as making "excuses" does have legit stomach issues which has meant instead of like 10 matches a year recently he's been more at like 4-5 a year with at his worst health crisis in 2021 he only had 2, but even still he remains undefeated for like 6 years and over 50+ fights since his last loss, sometimes you can be way above everyone else, sometimes it's just a bit but that can still be enough, for now he's above everyone else still objectively. But no doubt others are catching up, then again at the same time he's likely still leveling up as well.

Is that not Nicky Ryan screaming for Craig to let go of him/it? Nicky trains with Craig but it would make sense for him to yell that out in that moment given that it is his older brother. I feel like it's weird nobody else has noticed that

Craig was the last one to hurt Gordon. Only one? (His blown knee was his own fault with gaudio.)
