This was haunting! Like a sendoff to the pride of Sodor! When Gordon decides to voluntarily end it after so many decades of faithful service. I can imagine Sir Toppham Hatt bidding him a teary but restrained farewell as he is finally taken to the disassembly yard. Engines, new and old, who have come to bid this old legend a fond farewell, give him a teary smile. Gordon smiles back at them one last time before closing his eyes, never to open them again.

one day your walking down past the north western railways mainline as pip and emma roar past with the express you see an old railway line you follow it through the dark trees and find a lonely engine shed you notice its not locked so you fling open the sheds door and standing majestically infront of you is a big express engine its blue paint peeling of along with its numbe four you notice on the cab its type is an A 0 only one of these existed Gordon who used to pull the express you found him where he was hidden his siderods have been taken aong with his numberplate and nameplate but still the old boy rest in eternal sleep. you close the shed doors and walk away happy with your discovery.
