Was that tractor a John Deere? 😁 So, why are you saying "Whoa" when your dog is already pointing? You just taught her that AFTER she stops and then starts to move, that's called, "whoa".

Teaching dogs that gun fire means a bird is falling out of the sky is not a good idea in my opinion. I have seen dogs run off because the hunter missed and the dog keeps chasing the birds. I have also had other peoples dogs run up on me after I have fired a shot because the dog wanted a bird.

Letting a dog catch a bird in intro is bad. Makes pointing a problem...now she thinks she can catch birds and won't hold point
