This episode went beyond Hotel Hell. This became a personal, heartfelt matter quickly. The two of them were clearly trying their best, after all they'd been through. They weren't failing because they didn't care. They were just two lovely souls who were down on their luck, hard. From adding the robata grill for Sukie to express herself, and her love of cooking, in a way that still holds a Japanese flair, to Gordon renting them both a beautiful place to live for a half a year out of his own pocket just so they could be happier, and have a healthier marriage and life. This is what makes television, and people, great. God bless.

Areej Bhatti, he just has a no bullshit type of personality especially when it comes to food or business stuff. That I think is definitely exaggerated for tv at times but as a person the dude genuinely seems to care and seems like a good person who just wants to help people out. I watched some of his earlier shows back in the UK(like the one where he helped inmates learn how to cook) and you can still see some of that anger but he is a lot more centered and genuinely caring. The rest is a persona like you said.
@areej9634
@areej9634 7 жыл бұрын
Yeah especially in kitchen nightmares UK and the inmates show he's really quite chill, he still swears and has a go at them, but it's not nearly as dramatic with the crazy zooming and dramatic music.I feel like american tv is just so overdone.

Areej Bhatti, yeah that is a lot of American reality type shows for you. It always has to have a sob story or a drama going on into everything. I guess it is just so silly and "overdone" as you put it that it is entertaining for people to watch? Who knows. I think its just people are lazy and don't want to have to figure out subtle things so they would rather go with the exaggerated and absurd.

You can really tell that they’re affectionate people and full of love. At 0:33 the way the wife hugged her husband seemed really genuine. And it says a lot about them when the husband couldn’t contain his happiness and just straight up hugged the new head chef. Plus the way they express their gratitude towards Gordon is just really heartwarming.

The thing with Gordon Ramsay is people don't understand that he doesn't want to be a hardass. The problem with so many restaurants and hotels are the owners who are severely deluded as to their fortunes and why their businesses are struggling. The owners here absolutely needed help. Suki was open with how she had no formal training as a chef. They lost their house and almost everything because of the horrific car accident. They were humble and knew they were in bad times, and Gordon knew they would be the most appreciative of a fresh start

He was critical at the beginning, especially when he found out that Suki is not an experienced Chef until he realized why they are in that position... Gordon has a good heart for helping them, but it goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its covers. He might have thought it was silly that she was the Chef, without any experience, but he didn't know why. Once he knew, he understood. Don't judge, some people struggle behind the curtains they put up.

100% Fat Free Penis Gordon is an extreamly nice person. The US adaptation of his shows kinda present him a bit roughly. He's only angry to the people that derserve it. He really is lovely.

Huskki Hello and to answer you question, yes. When we went in the first time there wasn’t many people because the restaurant part wasn’t really opened yet and it was the day time. However another time we saw the place was at night and there was tons of people at the bar outside and you could see more people inside the restaurant too. Day time not so much but at night the place comes alive so yes I would say the place is doing quite well.

Seeing Dave find his motivation again. Wanting to help the chiefs and seeing his smile. And sue’s reaction to everything was so wholesome, she had tears in her eyes. It shows when Gordon finds someone truly deserving, and someone he knows can do good. He is willing to so much to help them

100% agree. He definitely did a lot for them, this makeover in particular seems a lot more in depth, personal, and a lot pricier then others. I think he really saw the potential in them and how far they had fallen and knew that doing this for them was without a question what needed to happen. God bless him.

This couple was so unbelievably kind and truly wanted their business to succeed. The only reason that they fell behind financially was because of the husband’s accident, which the wife put up with completely and without complaint. I am so glad that for all of the people that Gordon could go all out for, it was them. They deserved it so damn much.

It's probably Gordon's own money since he has hundreds of millions and only last year he made over 60 million so this is pocket change for him, still very nice what he did to this couple in struggle.
