It’s the recommendations, really. Once (most)people watch one of their videos, they go onto the next recommendation. I would know because I’m one of them. I don’t honestly care about their other work, but instead care for the next one. Unless one is specifically interested and or amazed by this persons work, then yes, they’ll watch their other videos. Random ideas: - maybe go back and look at stuff you liked as a kid, and haven’t touched since - poke around on Tumblr or other websites and look at aesthetics you haven’t seen before - perhaps you could listen to a music station, and design a character based off of the songs :P These probably aren’t very good ideas, but they help me sometimes.

If art block and being unsure about what to draw and maybe how people will view it is your issue, you might want to try out a personal doodle book? You get a sketch pad or notebook and draw in it, practice, and just, unwind- just keep in mind this would be for you and for you only, no one else has got to see it. Just draw whatever you feel like, and enjoy what you like to enjoy. Of course if you enjoy doing something else then maybe you should let go to that too :) whatever you think is best and most comfortable is the best. TLDR; try what you personally enjoy :)

I understand the desc COMPLETELY!!!!!! I notice that speedpaints with popular characters are the most popular. I prefer speedpaints with peoples original characters because I live to see peoples character designs! I don’t draw popular characters (that much, I still kinda) but all my speedpaints are flops. My more popular vids are my warrior animations. I don’t even know anything about warriors but it’s popular and gets views. Your art is amazing!

I'd like to see anything you put out, I'm fairly new so I've never seen you draw anything else but I'd love to when I get a chance to relax, I just like watching speed paints in general as long as they aren't too short or too long and the music is good I'll watch and enjoy anything, I understand you don't enjoy drawing ponies as much, everyone grows out of things, its a part of growing up. If you need time to get out of your art block stage and get inspiration then go for it! And feel free to draw anything you'd like, don't feel pressured to draw ponies for a video because you'll get more views and likes that way, do want YOU want, its your channel and your the artist!
