Today we are making a traditional Turkish pide which is my favorite pide in Turkey.
The word "pide" is believed to be deriving from "pita" which has been borrowed by Turkish as pide and is the name generally used for a boat-shaped Turkish pizza that is topped with meat and cheese and cooked until crispy.
Pide in Turkish cuisine has many varieties, such as this version from the east part of the Black Sea region and which has a round shape and has lots of melted, oozy cheese and a runny egg yolk in the center to dip your cheesy crust.

• 300 g 00 flour
• 200 ml water
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 2 tsp sugar
• 5 g active dry yeast
• 2 tsp salt
• 250 g Turkish golot cheese (alternative: kashkaval (Turkish kasar) or dry mozzarella)
• 1 egg
• 20 g butter
