Gorenje Washing Machine not spinning error fault code f4

I struggled A LOT with getting the motor off the lugs but this video enabled me, a person with two left hands, to fix my washing machine by replacing the worn out carbon brushes. Thank you!

Thanks so much. Needed this confidence boost (asking someone to come over is soo expensive here). It was extremely hard to get the motor off. In the end an imbus key with some extra leverage did the job. There was still a little on the brushes left so I am not entirely sure that is the issue (like 5mm on short edge). Going to order some new brushes tomorrow (i’m not in the US). I hope that is all that is needed. *Fingers crossed* and update doming soon.

Carbon brushes it was. Was a lot of carbon deposit. Clean up the brushes because they weren't that much worn out. Cleaned the rotor with some fine sand paper. Works like new. Thanks a lot. Cheers

Good video, the genuine brushes also have a L or R stamped onto the black casing to denote Left or Right fitment, but some of our motors can use either type of brush and use the corresponding fitment holes to locate. 👍🏽

Thank you! Can I ask what could possibly have with an F2 error code? It is a koerting KWA 82125 model but it looks identical with the one in this video. Any ideas? The manual itself, has all other codes but not an F2 - strange!

GorenjeWA72145 bk The machine runs for about 15 minutes and throws an error f2. Replaced door lock, same thing again.Throw out the water. What could be the cause?

I've taken the motor out of my WS 44122, checked the tacho and magnet, the connections, and the brushes. All seem to be in working order. If anyone has any idea what to check next I'd be very grateful.
