What a coincidence! I crocheted a triangle shawl in this stich I copied from another shawl a friend lent me. I wasn't aware it can be done in rectangle shape & didn't even know the name of this stich so I called it Ponto de Lagarto ( Lizard stich) . Close enough. It looked like scales
