Best loft space I’ve ever seen. So bright and roomy. Being disabled but love having my grandchildren over to spend time, the downstairs bedroom option was wonderful for me along with the catwalk to reduce my concerns for my little Blessings coming and going. and it still looks open and bright. I also cant say enough to tell you how much I love the kitchen and bathroom. You all checked all the boxes for this Mamaw. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home I with us.

Theses houses should be bought up by the government and placed on a site ...to give a future to the homeless people and this inevitably give them a place to live till they get back on their feet .
@vf1rj371
@vf1rj371 5 жыл бұрын
Or just build an apartment building to house homeless people. Why a tiny house? A tiny house is inefficient, as well as ineffective. In the scenario you suggest (housing the homeless), a tiny mobile home will house only one person or family per lot. But if it's a high-rise apartment building, for one lot, they can house dozens, if not hundreds of residents. High-rise apartment buildings is the answer to cheaper and available housing. It maximizes the land which the building is built on.

Todd Bow guess you’ve never heard of the working poor. There are people out here who have a job and aren’t paid enough to afford rent. All it takes now is one shitty thing to happen, especially medical, and you’ve lost just about everything. I’ve seen it happen to people. You better hope ‘there by the grace of god go I’, it doesn’t happen to you because no is immune.

YAAAAS! That's exactly what I was thinking! I already have a vision for a future where poor communities are given the chance to turn their lives around! They'll be populated by families living in tiny houses, wearing clothes made from the threads spun from recycled plastic bottles and bags, while the children play with donated and handcrafted toys.

I love this! Maybe a skylight, more closet space. A slightly tilted roof for snowfall. A place for solar panels. I would want the microwave over the stove so I had more counter space or an extension built in so I could get more counter space and then put it away. Otherwise, I really love this...oh and add in a fireplace. (All these ideas).

@Lil Pooh Odds are you haven't reached age 70+ yet, and/or, neither you, or anyone you know has to avoid steps of any kind, "for safety reasons," and should avoid stairs like the plague! For many of us, the stairs (or worse a ladder 😱) potentially means having a much higher risk of a fall, which can often mean incurring a fracture 😢, even for those who do not yet have full on mobility issues. 😞 (If, perhaps, it turns out you do know a person, or person's, with this daunting issue, you can see simply saying that one is never too old to... climb, in this case, was not keeping their challenges in mind.🤔) The safety issues for many of us older folks, as far as the use of stairs, (or heaven forbid going up & DOWN that ladder 😱), may very well have been the reason that the comment by Susan Smith of "I am too old to climb a ladder" was made! It is wisdom to know one's limitations.

I have looked at hundreds of tiny home designs. I thought that this was going to be a sales pitch. And yes it was - but gentle. You leave a good impression. I also really like some things with your design that I have never seen before. A height and spaciousness not present elsewhere. And for an 8 foot 6 inch outside width, I see that this one actually doesn't feel claustrophobic. Hats off to you. I think that I could work with you. Thank you.

Aside from not having enough headroom upstairs, I also think not having railings upstairs by the bedroom is very dangerous. If you slip, you'll fall directly into the main floor and that's a 6-feet fall. If you don't mind falling off 6 feet, then you're good! 😅😅

k d - It’s actually not inconceivable. It’s a regular occurrence to see kids as young as 5 jumping off play structures between 6 & 7 feet high at the park. Yes, they’re landing on bark or some other soft-fill, but a broken ankle or leg is preferable over burning alive. (I’m just shy of 6’ and these kids’ feet are well over my head when they’re taking off)

This is a beautiful tiny home everything you need and want is in it already. I’m just not to excited about the stairs. You wake up in the middle of the nite and try and walk down those stairs boom 💥 right down to the floor if you not careful. I rather have the bedrooms/office downstairs. I rather be safe then sorry. A place to sleep on the main floor is a must for me, the kids would love the loft but I want to be on the ground level even if the bed is a convertible or Murphy style. Since it is custom, I would imagine you could set it up however the customer would want, love your work, you and your crew must feel very accomplished and have a great deal of pride whenever you complete one.

But of course the more you change so does the price. But I've seen quite a few of his builds I'd like to combine because of certain things.. Anyways I hope that all is well with you and your family in these hard/crazy times we're in right now, and know that I love your profile name!. Now if you're confused and that's actually your real name my apologies because I thought it was just a play on words and you were talking about the band Alice In Chains which I love. He explains the reason for the ladder v stairs...it's to have more downstairs space. The stairs would take away from the space. It all depends on your needs and what's important to each person, which is why they always stress customization. I suspect if a ladder would challenge a person, then stairs, though somewhat better, would still be a liability for someone with half-closed sleepy eyes. A different model would be better for that person...It doesn't make it a bad idea and many many people love this model!!!!!!!!!!!

It's very homey looking which is nice over buying a camper, I'm not sure how I would feel about sleeping in the loft, but I love how you've made the living room so it can also be used as a bedroom! With the door that separates you from the rest of the home while you sleep. I also like how you didn't cut corners; the full bathtub, a double sink, stacking washer/dryer - all things that are really important, especially if you mean to live full time in your tiny home.

It seems to me they could have lowered that downstairs ceiling by a couple of inches (maybe get a slightly smaller fridge) and still have plenty of headspace while also creating more headspace upstairs. Otherwise, it looks nice.

No he said in video everything (hopefully lower floor ceiling height too for you) can be adjustable to your needs or preferences. Even though I'm tall (he didn't give his exact height probably 6'2 or 3) I like many would want it just an inch or two over my head if it meant more height upstairs. Stay Well !!!
