The Erosion Of Sanity album is a master piece. i can remember the opening riffs and those spine tingles. Fuck Gorguts and this album brought death metal to new territories. For me this album is as important as Death - Human... RIP Steve and Steeve

I could never fully accept the guitarist' after Steeve. He just couldnt be matched. He'd throw that guitar around like a ragdoll. I was fortunate enough to be 5 ft away on acid witnessing the Obscura tour with Cryptopsy and Vader as a teen. Fkn Steeve man. My mind is still somewhere at that old Corona venue. Ive been wandering the streets babbling like the cover of Tull's Aqualung since that night.

I saw this tour with Nile, Cryptopsy, and Oppressor in Atlanta. Blew my mind. still one of the top shows i ever witnessed. Obscura is such a monster album. It gave me chills when they played those songs. The world ended in 2001.
