Higashiyama Zoo on a rainy day.
Shabani's daughter Annie looked suspiciously at the bucket that the zookeeper forgot to bring back.
Annie was trying to let the zookeepers know that they had forgotten the bucket by carefully carrying it with her.
Later, the handle of the bucket was taken by her brother Kiyomasa, but she was trying to give the bucket to her father Shabani.
However, Shabani was not interested in the bucket.
When Annie returned indoors, Kiyomasa got bored and let go of the handle of the bucket, and she immediately took the handle and played happily with it.
Annie was very cute and hilarious.

The blue bucket is great entertainment and served as an enrichment activity. I’m surprised Annie did not figure out you can carry more food in a bucket. She is so smart if she has that bucket very long she will figure that out. I love Annie.

That's what I was thinking. She put the handle back in it - either to try and fix it 😂, or just realized things can go in the bucket, too! She definitely saw it was collecting a little water and drank it up! Smart girl. ❤🦍❤

I love how Shabani reached out to take it for a moment and Annie left it there just in case. They should be given other things like that to play with, just to see what they'll come up with and do with it. Annie had fun with it! I thought it was funny when she threw it and then ran away. Lol Seeing them walk upright is always mesmerizing to me! ❤🦍❤

She seems to be playing with the bucket handle like it’s a necklace or hairpiece. Perhaps she notices the kinds of ornaments human females wear and is trying to imitate them; I think they notice a lot more details about humans than we give them credit for. Anyway it turned out to me a great enrichment toy for her; I agree they should be given some balls to play with; there are ones made that are sturdy enough to stand up to gorilla play.

They need more enrichment. Out of all the gorillas I watch they have the least amount of environmental enrichment. They loved every part of that silly bucket! Give them more environmental enrichment!!

I wonder why they don't have anything? Momo's family has the ball for Kintaro (at least he is the one that always has it)lol, the blankets, burlap sacks to name a few. They do need some things to occupy them and stimulate them, I agree with you. The bucket being left accidentally was a hint for staff to get them some toys that won't harm them.

What happen to Annie at the very end? She was sitting there then looked up and was wiping her head and looked annoyed, like someone peed on her from up above..🤣🤣 She even smelled her hand after she wiped her head and looked up again. I mean it couldn't have been Kiyo as he is too far over unless he was aiming. 😂😂 and even then I don't think there is enough, to aim with.....
