Kiango, like Gentaro, is a baby gorilla living in a Dutch zoo that is being raised by a surrogate mother.
Kintaro was very interested in the many human babies that had gathered around.
He was observing the human babies while eating ice cream given to him by his keeper.

Gentaro's behavior pattern is such that he wants to feed near his mother, Genki, while Kintaro wants to feed near his father, Momotaro.

Father Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)　
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
　　
Mother Genki ♀ (1986/6/24)　　　
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
First son Gentaro, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son Kintaro ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro is
makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

I wish that Momo could have met his father as well. 😞 I agree, the boys are getting so big. You can see how much Kintaro has grown since last year. You can see how the muscles in Gentaro's legs are getting bigger, along with his chest and back. The boys are growing up so fast right in front of our eyes.

Robust young Gentaro and pamperd Gentaro !! His glossy, muscular back is getting bigger and his rapid change of body has already started. His stately figure of walking slowly has given indications of a beautiful adult gorilla. I wonder when and how he will transform himself into the real silverback✨✨🌼

Kiango is going to be a wild one like his sister and nephew! It’s in the blood😂 Kinny could teach him a lot! And I think Genki would be a great foster mom to him. But Kiangos auntie takes good care of him! Bao needs to mate and have more kids!

I have often thought about Momotaro not having had the opportunity to meet his Papa too. It hasn't prevented him from being an amazing Papa himself though or from being a good husband to Genki. He is such a gentle looking Silverback, and absolutely gorgeous. Just don't mess around with his food though, eating is serious business to Momo, and he doesn't share. Lol! Yes, everyone is growing, especially our little firecracker Kintaro. Where does he get all of that energy? I can't believe how muscular Gentaro is either, he has a very handsome face. Momotaro and Genki sure do make beautiful babies!

Sería genial que kintaro pudiera tener un compañero de juego de su mismo tamaño lo que yo no entiendo porque kiango solamente tiene un año de edad y tiene el mismo tamaño de kintaro. A mi me encanta el bebé kiango es tan enérgico e independiente nadie lo cuida pobrecito no tiene mamá. Kiango tiene mucho espacio para correr, saltar y molestar a los monos

You could NOT put gorilla gut bacteria into a human because the gorillas's whole digestive system as evolved completely different to humans to make them more efficient plant eater's. Also gorillas's hormone profiles like their digestive systems are different to humans. Hope that helped.

Is Momo's mother still alive?

Yes! she is. She is kept at Ueno Zoo in Tokyo. She just gave a birth to Sumomo, who is her sixth child. One of them was still born. Momotaro is her first child.

Yes, he did. Unfortunately he died at the early age. His name is Biju. Even worse, it was just before Momotaro was born. Not chance to interact with Dad.
