ゲンタロウは飼育員さんに何をして欲しかったのかな。ゲンタロウの瞳は優しくてウットリしてしまいます。何でもわかってくれそうな包容力を感じます。指しゃぶりは、人工保育のなごりと飼育員さんがおっしゃっていましたね。10ヶ月ゲンキママと離れていたから仕方ないです。よくぞここまで育ってくれました😢❤❤❤

Gent is special to me because he was literally a human baby for almost a year (10 mos) of his life. He'll always remember the closeness and care of a human hand. Many human adults still suck their thumb/finger(s), I'm not surprised that Gent still does. I notice he tends to suck his finger more so when he's near a zookeeper or when he's watching people with his loving kind eyes❤

I have felt that this family of gorillas is very very dysfunctional. If Gentaro was well adjusted, he would not be sucking finger. It is so sad that he finds comfort that was.

Das die Bindung bei Gentaro anders ist als zwischen Genti und Kintaro ist klar die arme Gent ist vom kleiner Gentaro fast ein Jahr getrennt was für Genti ganz schlimm war .Aber Sie liebt ihre Jungs sehr und Sie verteidigt ihn auch vor Momotaro sie ist eine gute Mutter. ゲンタロウにとっての母親は飼育員さんなのでしょうね そう考えると随分と早く親離れをしなくてはならなかった😢 キンタロウのゲンキヘの甘えかた&ゲンキのキンタロウへの接し方と比べると ゲンタロウとゲンキの関わり方は今見るとゲンタロウがとても可哀相だったなと思います ゲンキにとってゲンタロウは家族ではあるけれど自分の子供では無い ゲンタロウに飛び切りの幸せをあげたい❤

@ This is a very irresponsible statement and I respectfully disagree (my opinion, which I am entitled to). If it is abuse , which is technically a crime, why hasn’t it been abolished? It is irresponsible to be critical of Keepers/Managers as an entire group about how they care for the animals unless you have absolute proof that they are mistreated. Do you have any?

Several weeks back, he was involved in a scuffle/fight with Momotaro. It’s believed to have happened overnight since the wound was there the next morning. It seems to be healing nicely. 😊

We have a family in the UK “the aspinalls” and they rear gorillas in their foundation with the view to releasing them back into their natural habitats in Africa when they are aged around 8-10 it’s a wonderful foundation it’s been going for around 40 years!
