Having the two species together must make for a richer and more interesting life for both of them. The gorillas look laid back but not bored or depressed like I see in other zoos.

If possible can you please add under the Thumbnail the names of each member of the gorilla troop and their genetic history. I’m new to this channel and extremely curious at who I am looking at, when/where they were born and their relationship to each other. Beautiful park and photography. Thank you.

It made me laugh how the gorilla pushed the monkey away😂 And the monkey turned her butt around to the gorilla. I'm almost positive that to some monkeys, this is showing submission or showing that they want to be friends. When she did that the gorilla gave her another push but a little bit harder this time.

@bjorntobewildlife3 жыл бұрын
I've never seen that happening, but i've seen a gorilla chasing a mangabey when the mangabey had some delicious fruit. But the gorilla did no harm to the mangabey, the mangabey was to fast and agile anyway. :)

@@bjorntobewildlife wow looked like there was nothing. Thanks
Confused.... Wouldn't the lions go after mangabey and Gorillas? Aren't they predators in the wild? Just shocked they are so close as I would think the Lions may jump off roof and try to get at Mangabey & gorillas. Seems dangerous. Can you please educate me on this close situation. ;-)

Lions and gorillas, while they live in the same continent, almost never meet in the wild, lions live in open savannah grasslands and more arid areas, while Gorillas live in lush, dense jungles, so their ranges almost never overlap
@maryeddy4871 Жыл бұрын
@@spoopaconhojitas3829 , I believe I had heard that Lions and other big wild Cats are a danger to Gorillas in the wild and one predator that win in a fight with Gorillas. In this video, seeing Lions so close to the Gorillas was confusing because I didn't know ( until the video owner advised me in reply ) that there was a Mote separating them. Thank you very much for the information. I love learning about Gorillas and their natural habitat. Appreciate your time and help. Be safe, take care.
