Just wanted to say Love is universal! I think the high intelligence & almost human personality & character of Kintaro is down to the great LOVE & devotion of firstly his mum Genki but also his Dad & brother love him too Hes such a confident, cheeky, quick minded & tactile, his friendliness is all due to such unconditional love from his family This applies to all babies & children of any species, humans included LOVE is everything ❤💕💞🦍

Lol not when it comes to food. I have seen genki attack kintaro numerous times over food. Gorilla parents do put themselves first before their offspring. They are protective of them but unlike humans they do not share food, ever.

So precious. Even at this stage, Kintaro proves to be a handful for Mama Genki. He was already practicing for his drumming technique, so cute. Gentaro's fascination of his little sibling was so great that Mama's rebuttals for touching Kintaro didn't faze him. He kept coming back for more. Momo's pride could be seen in how he sat in front of Genki just gazing down on Kintaro and admiring the newest addition to his family. This family is so affectionate, even in the parenting of the boys, that many human families could take lessons. Dad and Mama watch over their charges with a keen eye, even when playing. And, the boys! How wonderful the deep love they have for each other. They cuddle with one another after playing hard, and sometimes fall asleep with each other. Gentaro is always careful not to use his advanced strength with Kintaro, even when baby brother gets rough with him. I watch this family often. Especially at night. They make me laugh and help me to relax so much, I sometimes fall asleep. Love to the Momotaro Family from Moreno Valley, California, USA ❤😎😘🦍

I love this family so much. All of them individually and collectively as a family. I can't let a day go by without having to tune in hoping there's a new video. Yeah! I need a life. lol I told my husband I wanted a gorilla for xmas, he's like what? I'm like not just any gorilla, I want Kintero. Then i'm like can't have Kintero without Genki. Then I add, can't have them without her other son. Then I just say actually can't have them without Momo. I finish by saying, omg even if i won $50 million in lotto, i think the family should stay right where they are. Makes me smile and makes my day when I see them, i'm so happy the zoo has found a way to share them with the rest of the world. But i'd definitely leave Canada, to go visit them in person. lol My son got many of his universities, studying asian law. I told him the other day, "If you go back to Japan one day, i would love to go with you." He was like "seriously, anything special you would like to visit first?". I said yup, Kyoto Zoo. lmao He just shook his head and walked away. "OMG MOM!" lololol "I told him, i'm serious, first thing on my list." I watch the young lady zookeeper that we see with them pretty often and I think, why didn't i think of that career as a young woman. She is very lucky!

Ich freue mich immer sehr Videos von dem kleinen Schatz Kintaro zusehen wo noch so winzig und zerbrechlich ist .Mama Genti ist eine gute Mutter aber auch sehr vorsichtig und wachsam Ich kann das gut verstehen den Gentaro wurde ihn als Baby eine Zeit weggenommen weil Sie nicht genug Milch hatte Heute ist aus Gentaro ein schöner Gorilla auf dem Weg zum Silverback er wird bestimmt genau so ein schöner Silverback wie sein Vater. Genki is so mean to Gentaro. She continuously misunderstands his gestures of love for something they are not. And don't mess with her food! Not even one tiny blade of grass for Kintaro if she sees it! She literally takes it out of his tiny little mouth and shoves it into her own. I can't stand seeing her abuse poor, sweet Gentaro. No wonder he is always trying to hit her now that he's bigger. She's so mean to him, breaking his tender spirit. One of these days he'll give it all back to her and she won't like it anymore than he likes what she's doing to him.

My absolute favourite primate family of all The Momotaro family I think Genki is the best mum ive ever seen & ive watched alot of different families She absolutely adores her baby Kintaro, i think its her reason for living to love that baby Kintaro is 3 yrs old now & Genki still adores him so much But its sad to see how hurt Genaro looks when she pushes him away when he gets close to baby Kintaro Yet he loves Kintaro as much as she does, Genaro loves playing with him & hes kind & gentle & never takes out his hurt against Kintaro I love Mama Genki but feel so sad for Genaro, i wonder why she never bonded with him the way she does with Kintaro? Maybe because when Genaro was born he was nurtured by the human keepers & although Genki accepted him back, the great great love she has for Baby Kintaro isnt so obvious in her love for Genaro. I have watched all your videos since Kintaro was born & the most wonderful gift of love Genki has for her new born son is something so amazing & heart warming i vote Genki as the best ever Mummy Gorilla! Also Momotaro is the most handsome & gentle of male Silverback gorillas too He makes his family his concern & has such affection for wife Genki & his slightly bewildered affection for his sons is also beautiful to see. I know Genaro is just like a typical teenager & his antics make me laugh so much I just wish Genki wouldnt push him away as its so clear he adores his mum & his baby brother! Im coming to Japan later in the year & im certainly going to be making alot of trips to Kyoto City Zoo to see in reality my favourite Gorilla family in the world! I cant wait to see them in person So until then im enjoying watching all the back videos again. Thank you so much for bringing us the videos & seeing how tiny Kintaro- clever intelligent Kintaro was here I think he's going to make the greatest alpha male when he matures, his intelligence & winning personality will be a great asset to your Zoo 👧🇬🇧

I felt so bad for Gentaro during this time. I know mom had to protect Kintaro but there were times when Gentaro was just sitting there letting the baby grab his face and mom pushed him away. Poor Gentaro must have felt so lonely 💔.
